"The owner Jesse and his team assessed the job and spent the late day and evening to ensure the job was done right. My wife and I prior to Jesse, had bats above and four mice trapped. It was time to rid them from our home permanently. Jesse spent time prior to the work to fully explain in detail. He and his team were professional from start to end of the job. "Just okay. Very responsive in coming out to give me a quote, but I didn't hear from them after the job was sold - I had to call their office three days later to find out when they were coming. I then got a text from the salesman saying they'd be out at the end of the following week, much later than I'd wanted them there since the birds had begun nesting in the soffit again. Also expensive - about $500 for a job that took literally 15 minutes - about $80 of that was for the plastic cap they put over the soffit. Not a lot of companies do birds, though, so I went with this one."

All technicians are certified through the state of michigan department of agriculture as well as being certified in integrated pest management. Committee to training, knowledge of the latest in technology and continuing education are also priorities at hogarth’s. Staying on the cutting edge of the newest and most effective products and procedures as they develop is mandatory.

"I called these people last weekend because we thought our daughter may have been bitten by a bat. We had a bat a week before, but hadn’t seen it since. All I wanted was to trap the bat if it was still around. The woman I spoke with said it would be difficult to determine if the bat was still there and trap it if there wasn’t a nest of them in the house. She suggested that I get an exclusion inspection, said they have openings this week and she could have someone call me to set an appointment. She also took my credit card number. Today I got a an email receipt for a $150 dollar charge for the inspection and shortly after got an inspection report. I never received a phone call to schedule the inspection as she had stated, and nobody even knew the guy was here. Had I been able to talk to the person who did the inspection I would have cancelled it because they had no intention of catching the bat, they just wanted to get paid to send me an estimate for thousands of dollars for the to make some changes to my house that they would hope would keep future bats out. What a ripoff!"

Spikes are a humane alternative that deter nesting without harming the birds. In small areas, like vents, a very fine mesh net can be installed to prevent the bird from returning. These nets don't generally pose a risk to the birds.

Fleas are not likely to go away on their own without intervention. This pest lives for around 100 days or up to one year as an adult, so long as it has access to a host. Female fleas lay up to 50 eggs per day, meaning these bugs can quickly spread in your home. Instead of waiting in hopes that they’ll go away on their own, you should hire an exterminator to prevent an infestation from worsening.

It’s unlikely true water bugs will get into your home plumbing system. You may find them in gutters, rain barrels, or open irrigation on your property. If there are bugs near your indoor pipes, leaky sinks, or other moist places, they are probably Oriental cockroaches.
