Critter Control of Traverse City

Damien provided great service and was great to work with. He worked 2-1/2 hours and sealed several entry points where the bat may have entered. Included minor material costs. There was no clean up of bat droppings inside, so we were told that there didn't appear to be an infestation. One year warranty. $1,567!! Enough said.

We needed someone from Critter Control to figure out where a smell was coming from but we would have had to tear a wall out to get to it (something has gotten into our walls and couldn't get out:(). We were told they would need to come back at a later date to seal off outside critter accesses and they would get it all set up. Months later they hadn't come back so I called to find out why. Somehow the person that was going to put in the future order for sealing critter access never followed through. As I understand it there were some changes going on at that time within the company that caused this confusion.

They did a nice job and were not afraid to 'go where they needed to' to find and plug entry points.

They were wonderful. Late winter early spring I had a skunk living under my side porch. My whole house stunk of skunk. They came out quickly and on time. Found tracks so could know exactly where to set traps. Explained why the skunk was probley there. They checked trap after and removed the possum that got caught and rest trap. They caught the skunk and had it removed. If you have ever smelled a skunk you can start to understand the smell in the house. Everything smelled like skunk clothes, furniture, and bedding. They were so understanding and even gave me suggestions on ways to remove the smell.

I had a skunk hiding under my deck late winter early spring. My whole house stunk of skunk. They came out found the tracks and set up a trap. They were great help. This happened twice and both times they were so helpful and kind to me. I always recommend them whenever some one says they have a animal problem.

The office girls were wonderful, scheduling went very smoothly. The crew that came out was very professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed.

So far, so good

We have a very old historical house. Eventually Critter Control did a very good job, but it took a little. We contracted with them. I think we paid them $800. Which is a lot of money, but it's a very big house, and they initially did their thing, and it didn't work, and I refused to pay the last 400 something dollars until it did work. The manager of Critter Control agreed, and they did a lot of additional work that they wanted to start. They followed through for no additional money, so I honored their bill. We haven't had a single mouse since. We had two or three unpleasant conversations, and a very pleasant one. They did a very good job. I helped them along. The cost was too expensive in my opinion, but they did eventually get it resolved. The process it's self was too hard for the consumer. They need to recognize for that kind of money, there needs to be no mice. They were always on time for their appointments. That was good, but there had to be five appointments. They were always very professional when we were interacting, even when I was being a jerk. Yes, I would use them again, but I would talk to the manager from the get go. Four of the times they came out they sent the same individuals to do the work. So, I give that an A for consistency. Overall, they could pick up their game.

I am very satisfied with critter control. The skunk has not returned. They never caught him; he just didn't come back. What they did was give me the kind of advice I needed to keep him away.
