"I had an exceptionally positive experience using Macson Electric who was sent by Aladdin Heating & Cooling to bring the electric components of my new furnace and AC up to code. I was quite concerned that they might have to tear up my newly painted basement ceiling to complete the work, but I was very pleased that they were able to utilize an existing spare dedicated circuit which saved me the cost of drywall repair and paint. Stephen was the journeyman electrician who completed the work and I found him to be punctual, friendly, considerate and highly skilled. He followed all COVID-19 recommendations and he did a nice job of protecting my floors and cleaning up after the work was done. Finally, he explained everything to me in a way that I could undertsand it. It was a pleasure working with Macson Electric and I'll be calling them first for any future electrical needs. I highly recommended Macson Electric."

"After my experience with Woodward Electrical Services, I would not recommend their services. My husband and I hired Woodward Electrical Services to fix the whole house fan in our home. An electrician came to evaluate the fan and replaced the switch, however, the repair did not work. We called and the electrician came to the house again, but was unable to fix the problem - although they did not charge us for the second visit. He stated that he needed to order a part. After a week without hearing from the company, we tried to contact them. We called at least ten times without a response. The call goes to an answering service in another state. The answering service stated to me that they then send a text message to the business owner with the information from the customer call. Eventually, I went to the address listed for Woodward Electrical Services. The address is a residential home - the person who answered the door stated that the owner of the business did live at this address and provided me with the owner's cell phone number. I left two messages for the owner, however, I did not hear back. Frustrated with the lack of response from Woodward Electric, I contacted the Better Business Bureau to file a formal complaint. The BBB was unable to get a hold of Woodward Electrical Services as well. It has been three months since we originally contacted Woodward Electrical Services, and unfortunately, we are out $150 and our house fan is still broken."

"I recommend Allshire highly and without reservation. Russ, John, and all their crews were professional and we felt comfortable throughout the process. Our bathroom was fully gutted and rebuilt (with same footprint) - the end result was fantastic and I believe the value was very high. Just to make others aware - we had a fair amount of back and forth with the inspectors from our township and had several hardware items delivered to our house that were broken so they had to be re-ordered - so job took longer than we (and Allshire) expected. That said, the company has many positive attributes: 1) communication is solid 2) attitude is positive and professional 3) final workmanship very high 4) pricing very reasonable 5) overall demeanor is friendly and flexible which is what we wanted. "When I had first reached out to them and it was after hours and left a message and Ben called back the next morning and in one hour, Ben and Kevin came in the door, assessed the mess with all the old wiring, presented their very fair estimate and the next day they here on time, completed the work on the estimate and all in proper working condition. "I hired this company because of the good reviews, but I had a terrible (and weird) experience. Here’s the short version: If you want to overpay for bad quality service and then have them actively duck your calls and avoid you when asked for accountability, Westborn Electric is the company for you. In February, I hired this company to complete the electrical work for a city inspection. The service was very expensive, but I hired them because of their guaranteed quality work. I’m an amenable customer, and really I just wanted the job done right. Among the work they completed, I had them replace the wired interconnected smoke alarms in the home, which they purchased and installed. Shortly after, the alarms began malfunctioning creating false alarms nearly every day (very disruptive and unsafe). When I called the company to have them come out to look at them given the guarantee of their work, they allegedly did so, but they never followed up to explain what issues they had found. I called this company over 10 times asking if someone could please call me back to understand if they had found an issue or what the next steps were. I never received a call back. The weirdest part is when the unhelpful receptionist would actually answer my calls, she would apologize profusely promise “I’ll have the electrician call you today.” This led to more confusion on my part as I expected every day they would call back, but they never would. I really would have preferred they told me they were unavailable for the job so I could stop wasting my time. Again, I called for almost two weeks straight, left many voicemails, and even spoke with the receptionist who promised someone would return my call. No call back. In totality, this was a VERY expensive project I hired them to do. On top of that, the fix was relatively simple, but they chose to duck my calls instead. A simple civil conversation would have been nice. The job was not done right and the company was unwilling to take responsibility in order to remediate the issue. Finally, I hired someone else to come fix the issue. The electrician I hired confirmed the smoke alarms they had sold me and installed were indeed defective. This company is definitely an “AVOID AT ALL COSTS” story I’ll be telling for a while."
