Horrible company. Complete scam. They put barn windows in an apartment building then had to fight to get them replaced. Then said they did all tempered glass and none of it was tempered and they never responded or came back to fix it. Do not use them.

Home Advisor let me down. 1st appointment = 2 hours late, did not have required scaffolding, inappropriate staffing, 2 hour lunch and I was a crew member to get the work done. 2nd appointment = 3 hours late, did not have enough scaffolding - - again I was a crew member. Overcharge of $180.00 ==> Quoted $100.00 per pane, then charged $110.00 per pane for (18) panes. Overcharge of $230.00 for glass delivery ==> Warehouse charged me $35.00 ; Metro Detroit charged me $265.00. Overcharge of $110.00 ==> Charged me for a window installation when they broke the window. Metro Detroit will never be in my home again.

Paid them to replace our cracked window. It's been almost 2 full weeks and they are not calling me back. Their installer texted me back finally last week to tell me he's sick. I asked if he could ask his company to send someone else to install the window, he said he'd check and hasn't called me yet. Left messages at their main number and they are not calling me back. Will take action against this company to get $ back.

Take photos of all surrounding flooring, walls, etc. before the job to document as they will unfortunately deny damage that they create. Caution them to move and/or cover furniture if they cannot cut the glass of a huge window out and need to smash it. They may refuse to do so until you call their business partner and they may patronize you and claim contrary to the laws of physics that small shards of glass will not fly. If you overlook a public walkway insist that they erect barriers so that glass shards do not fall on passersby. We wish we were exaggerating but this is the degree of unprofessionalism we faced.

I had several windows that had broken seals. I was really concerned that the window company was going to tell me that I had to replace entire windows. ( I was told that in the past when I spoke to another company over the phone.) I was quite please to know that I only needed to replace glass. Because I had some "odd" windows in my home. The estimator himself said he will come out and take care of windows. And true to his word he and his partner did the install. They were professional and did an outstanding job. They even fixed my broken screen door free of charge. And also sealed my other windows around the house. I will use them again if the need ever arises.

I had a broken pane in my interior french door that led to my mudroom, which is a cold room. I needed the pane fixed fairly quickly. I called several places only to find out that they couldn't come quickly, or they would have to order the glass. I called Metro Detroit Window, and I spoke to Jay, who was very professional and most importantly, expedited someone out to me within a day to fix the broken pane at a reasonable cost. They were very quick to respond to giving me a quote. The windows came in within a week and were installed as soon as I was available. The price was very good and I like the fact they are warranted for 5 years labor and 10 years glass. I definitely would recommend this company to anyone that wants the glass replaced without the cost of buying new windows.

Nice guys but they measured my window wrong so they had to re-order it. I called a week later to find out they forgot to re-order it. When they finally came to install it they did not do what I wanted. When I called to complain they said they misunderstood but they'd fix it however they would have to charge me for it. Even though they charged me less than they normally would for this I still felt this was a little unreasonable
