"I was scammed. They came to my house to fix an issue regarding several of my outlets and lights being out. After 1.5 hours of work they left and charged me $337 saying the job was complete but nothing was fixed. I asked what they did and they claimed they fixed some burned up neutral wire in an outlet on the second floor. All the same outlets and lights are still out. I told the superintendent Jeff about this and he didnt care said to give him $200 to keep working. I said no and called someone else. New person came and after ten minutes fixed the problem. It was the GFCI in the downstairs bathroom. The company refuses to get back to me, refuses to own up to their mistake, and continues to lie. Horrible company. Dont use these frauds. I had to fight to get my money back from the bank."

"I called Mr. Sparky because I subscribed to their Comfort Club service, a $20 monthly offering that includes Front of the Line Service, Discounted Service Fee, 10% off Repairs, and 5% off New Repairs. Despite my subscription, I found that they are super expensive, and they inflate the price for diagnosing electrical problems to offer you a discount on the service to fix the issue if you choose them for the work. For example, I called them to fix a shower fan that was tripping the circuit. The technician arrived and spent about 40 minutes diagnosing the issue and explaining their convoluted billing scheme. He confirmed what I told him what was going on. They charged me almost $450 for a single-circuit diagnosis with a $60 reserve service fee. They offered to deduct $200 from the $1,300 estimate to replace the shower fan. They also didn't guarantee the diagnosis and noted that other things could come up after they replace the fan, which could add more cost. I decided not to use them and fixed the fan myself by swapping out the fan motor within the enclosure. I found a new replacement fan on Amazon for $99, which had the required parts. It was an expensive lesson, though, since I was still overcharged $450 for very little value. $200-$250 would have been reasonable for what they actually provided. Their approach of padding diagnosis fees is borderline criminal. They should charge for the work they do. Because of this, I would avoid doing business with this company. I have also canceled my Comfort Club subscription."

"Kyle did some electrical work for our kitchen remodel as part of a larger kitchen upgrade. Kyle seems like a nice guy but he made so many mistakes it really held up the kitchen remodel and it ended up taking weeks longer. Outlets were put in the wrong place. The wrong switch plates were installed. The biggest problem is that Kyle was so busy we could not get him back to finish/correct the work for days and weeks on end. In the end we had a non-functioning kitchen for 3 months. I think Kyle is a decent electrician but doesn't take the time to do the job right. Always in a rush. In the end it all got done but it was like pulling teeth."
