They were referred to us by a friend of ours. They were very professional and honest. They did the job for the cheapest amount of money but made sure it was done right. They went out of their way to make sure it was done right and safe. We told them we were working with a fixed income and they were very happy to accommodate that. They came out the very next morning and didn't try to tell us we needed other stuff done. They were actually 15 minutes early.

He came and he did check the breaker box, said he couldn't find any problem, and then charged us and nothing was repaired.

"I am very sorry for your experience with our company. The report came into our office that the breaker to the washer/dryer was tripping the breaker, our tech arrived from Lansing, checked all connections in the electrical panel, amprobed the circuit circuit to the washer/dryer for about 25-minutes with a maximum amperage of 7.8 amps and the breaker did not trip. We did not replace the breaker because of the existing breaker not tripping. So even though it seemed like we didn't do anything, we did check out the system. Again, I am sorry for your experience with our company. Thanks, Doug"

I spoke with the owner, Doug, over the phone about what we were looking for and he quoted me a ballpark price. I decided to have him come out and give me a firm quote. He worked with my schedule and provided the quote in a timely manner. Doug was very polite, professional and a pleasure to work with.
Once we received the quote, we emailed Doug and were able to schedule the work in a very short amount of time. I was impressed with their ability to get the work started so quickly. The crew came out (it was two employees) and they were very personable, kept a very clean workspace and did a great job. They finished in less time than anticipated and it was a pleasure working with them. Everything looks great and works as expected.
I will definitely call Capitol City Electric the next time we have any electrical needs, they are a dependable company with great employees.

The first time we had them for an estimate, he was very prompt in getting back to us and emailed us a written estimate. The electrician that came was very competent, pleasant, was quick, and neat. They actually found plaster for us to fix a whole in the ceiling that had to be made for the removal of a fixture.
