He diagnosed the problem as a defective pressure switch. He went and got a new one, returned and installed it. The pump is working. "Went OK. They did the work and it 'mostly worked' when they were done. I say mostly because the pressure valve was blowing off of the boiler when they were done (This was NOT happening before they had done the work). I had noticed this the day after I had paid. I contacted them and they wanted to replace the expansion tank and charge me $200. I asked - shouldn't this be covered under the initial work of $4600? They said the part wasn't explicitly in the quote. Frankly at this point to replace what really was a $40 part and half hour of time to do a fully finished job (for $4600). For 1. How am I supposed to know (as a customer) what should be on the quote for a fully finished job (pumps, piping, etc? - they are the expert) 2. How am I supposed to know this isnt their fault. (Shouldnt an autofilling expansion tank be connected to the incoming water supply?) Frankly not standing fully behind their work and making sure they do everything to do a good, finished job - left a 'bad' taste in my mouth. In the end I replaced the auto-filling expansion tank with an Extrol expansion tank for $40 and it took me less than an hour. After that it all appears to work."

"Called in claim on 6/18; tech assigned on 6 /19; so far so good. Claim was for failed well pump with NO water to my home with two disabled seniors. Due to heavy workload and no extra pay on weekends the tech came for diagnostics 4 days later. He verified the failed pump and tried to purchase one at Home Depot. None in stock, had to be ordered. Pump came in on 6/30 and tech arrived today, 7/1, and expertly installed the new pump. Choice has a $ 500 limit on well repair, which is 1/3 of a typical bill. That dollar cap is riduculous. On a positive note, C-Force provides expert work for Choice and would be my choice for any future work."
