I had emailed him photos of the rooms and my measurements of square footage. I called him on our way back, on a Tuesday, to confirm the job and gave him a $100 deposit over the phone. On Wednesday his subcontractor, Ruben, called me and set up for Thursday, and by that evening they were done, all popcorn gone and everything cleaned up. I emailed him a photo of a check for the balance and that was it. The simplest process of any home repair we have ever had done. "

Performing abatement for asbestos means the contractor removes or encapsulates the asbestos to protect your family’s health. The term abatement refers to the steps required to keep asbestos fibers from moving into the air. Asbestos siding on its own doesn’t present a health risk. Asbestos fibers only become airborne when you disturb the material.
