After 50 years spreading fertilizer and weed control ourselves we got smart last year called TuffTurf. It was a good call as the lawn looks great and we have found them to be very pleasant with excellent communication.

Excellent communication every time they came out. Full documentation of reporting and they caught over 7 moles. We are very pleased and if we see more activity as we live in the woods with 20 acres behind us I would hire them again.

Hired Molebusters in 2018. Our residential /suburban lawn was being destroyed by these rodents. I felt the fee was pricey, but... after trying several things on my own: the buzzers in the lawn, homemade potions (think: hot pepper flakes / Tabasco sauce) and 'natural' = urine approaches... all which were UNSATISFACTORY.... I saw progress with the Molebusters service. -- For 2019 I tried to imitate their service on my own: traps and bait and topical deterrents. That was a complete BUST - a waste of my time and money. -- 2020, I signed up EARLY. Still paid over $500, but... the results, so far this year are promising! I already pay for fertilization and cutting/maintenance, so taking care of the moles was well worth it. -- I think their vans are a HOOT - there is a mole with a hard hat on top!!! -- Staff is professional and courteous! -- Leadership is communicative and responsive. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

We have tried multiple services to control our rampant mole issue in a large backyard that is next to a creek and wooded area. Molebusters, while not the least expensive, has been the most effective. Caught many moles; problem has not totally disappeared, but lawn looks the best it's looked in the years since we have struggled with moles. They are simply fantastic at communicating, keeping us informed, showing up like clockwork, and reporting the results every two weeks. Very happy!

Tough Turf has done a great job for me for several years now. My lawn looks better and grows in more thickly each year. I have had several neighbors ask me who does takes care of my lawn.

They came out while I was out of town. They didn’t see mole activity, so treated the landscape beds for voles. They missed the active mole tunnel that ran for 50 feet across the front of my lawn and 7-10 (these were in a very wet area near a creek - so perhaps understandable). When I contacted them and sent photos, they immediately offered to come back out, but their availability in my location is a single day a week. I wanted to be here and we could not work it out. I ended up selecting another company that was half the price and has done an excellent job on both the moles and voles. I have to give Jeff credit for his up-front explanations, responsiveness, and professional handling of my decision not to have them come back.

Everything went really well. I was always notified when Mole Busters would be coming to perform services. The flags clearly marked the traps that were set. The moles were caught and so far, we have no new mole runs! We are very satisfied!!

I contacted TuffTurf in Fall 2017 to assess significant mole damage in my yard. Even though I had found two moles (one alive, one dead) over the two weeks prior to that appointment, their technician reported that there was not an active mole population. Based on that report, their sales consultant told me that it would be completely appropriate to schedule lawn rolling and aeration in Spring 2018. He did not believe that starting a mole treatment program was necessary, and in fact strongly argued against it. To their credit, the technician that completed the lawn rolling in Spring 2018 did a great job. She introduced herself beforehand, was very personable, and was very respectful of my yard and landscaping. However, just a few weeks after completing this service, my yard - once again - showed evidence of an active mole population. This completely destroyed the benefit of the lawn rolling. I contacted TuffTurf for an explanation. They told me that, even though they had concluded in the Fall that there was not an active mole population in my yard, moles should have been expected to return in the Spring. No one bothered to share this information with me at any point in time. In fact, they not only told me that a treatment program was unnecessary, but allowed me to schedule and pay for a service (lawn rolling) that they had to have known would be undone shortly after it was completed. Jeff Skully, general manager at TuffTurf, was very patient with my questions. However, he essentially blamed me for not purchasing a treatment program and for scheduling lawn rolling ... even though I had simply followed the recommendations of his employees! He apparently expected me to trust the recommendations of his sales consultant and technicians, yet also believed that I should have completely ignored them. Based upon that, he was completely unwilling to offer a refund. Although everyone at TuffTurf was very easy to work with, they simply were not able to deliver on the promises listed on their website. Their evaluation of the mole population in my yard was inaccurate, they recommended *against* a treatment program despite later telling me that moles should have been expected to return, they sold me a service that they should have known would be undone shortly after it was completed, and - worst of all - blamed me, the customer, for everything that went wrong. My advice? There are other pest control companies. Use them.

"If I understand this correctly, you are upset that you were willing to pay us for a mole program, but our experienced technician that does this all day, every day, didn't see any fresh activity and recommended that you didn't need to spend that money with us. We sent another technician back 2 weeks later to aerate, and there still was no indication of fresh mole activity. You signed up for the rolling in January. The same technician that aerated your lawn also rolled it, and once again, no fresh mole activity. We cannot control nature, nor do we claim or even imply that we can control nature. If a mole moves in a few weeks after your lawn was rolled, and in which you were satisfied, how can we be held responsible for the lawn not remaining flat? We didn't see any fresh mole activity on 10/13/17, nor on 10/27/17, nor on 3/27/18. If a mole(s) returned in April, your lawn didn't have any activity for 6 months from the time you found a dead mole and our technician said you didn't have fresh activity. It sounds like the technician was correct. We didn't say you should "expect" to see a mole again. We said you "could" see a mole again because they come and go like any other animal. I see you are upset with the interactions of Jeff. I have read through the email correspondences and nowhere do I read that we blamed you for a mole returning. Nobody is to blame for an act of nature. You and Jeff agreed to disagree. We won't refund the rolling because a mole moved in a couple of weeks after the rolling. We are flattered that you think we are good enough to know a mole would move in after 6 months of being gone. We are good, but not that good. The only human that could ever predict the future or control nature is Jesus, and we certainly don't make the claim to be Him. Even if you were on the mole program, we can't guarantee that moles won't move in. I don't think we gave you bad advice about not needing the mole program. We saved you money. Our statements might not have been clear enough, so I apologize if you interpreted that we were blaming you. I am glad to hear that you thought everybody else at the company is easy to work with."

Excellent and prompt service. They always alert me one or two days before they come out as well as tell me which service person will be doing the work. The lawn looks great. We have used them for several years and have no desire to change.
