"I spoke with roughly every foundation repair business within 25 miles of my home, and all gave me vastly different solutions upon seeing my home. Based on the research I did (online articles, reddit, etc.) Russ's solution aligned with everything I was looking for without me having to lead him there. We had new I-beams installed (plus several carbon fiber straps because my stairs hug the wall), new internal drain system, one wall re-aligned (with exterior waterproofing including hauling away clay soil and backfilling with peastone), and tuckpointing. It was a huge job to say the least, but the quality of work done was outstanding. During the job he will call you over to educate you on everything he's doing. His #1 priority is making sure you (as the customer) are 100% satisfied with the work being done. You always have the opportunity to ask questions, alter the solution, or add-on additional work. He has a solution for everything. With all that being said, you'll probably have to wait awhile, and it's on you to keep the line of communication open. My advice to you is if you don't hear from him after consultation/quote, follow up with him, try to gauge when work will be able to start, and follow up as the date gets closer. He runs one crew at a time so that he can oversee the job, he does every consultation/estimate himself, so it's challenging for him to chase everyone down to see if they're interested. Most companies want to get in and out as fast as possible, cutting corners, etc. Russ doesn't operate that way and will make sure the solution implemented is bulletproof. We had three separate areas leveled (The two driveway areas previously had water pooling near the foundation of the garage and home every time it rained. The A/C unit was not leveled when we moved in this past winter). "Brandon did the appraisal and the crew leader. Corey and Jeff were two of the four workmen who came to the house. All were excellent. They were timely, courteous, professional, and, after they left, you would not have known that they were there except that all of the brickwork had been repaired. I also felt they were fairly priced. They had to remove and rebuild the top 10 layers of the chimney, tuck-pointing and brick replacement around the bottom corner of the garage and tuck-point and repair one end of the front porch.
