"I had an emergency drywall incident and New Image saved us.  I put 4 separate calls into different contractors and Jim at  New Image called me back within a half hour.  None of the others called me back.  Maybe due to it being opening day of deer hunting.   I needed my back splash in my kitchen prepped the next day due to the fact I had other contractors scheduled on Friday to install our countertop and a new back splash the day after that.  My husband and I took off our old back splash and caused more damage than we had planned. The owner (Jim) called me back right away and was very nice and accommodating.  He told me he would call me back in a few minutes after he checked with his drywaller.  He called me back right away and his drywall guy came to my house the next morning.  The drywall guy was very nice as well.  He went above and beyond what I had planned on.  He did a more than adequate job in order for our back splash to be installed.  He spent at least 2.5 hours repairing and prepping.  He cleaned up so well it was like we hadn't had a worker in our house.  The most impressive thing is when Jim originally quoted me on the phone he said $250.00.  He called me after his drywall guy Tim was done that afternoon and said he was  only going to charge us $195.00 because the job did not entail what they had originally thought.   This is a great company with very nice people who do great work!!!  I will definitely call them again."

"They installed shower for me. It was excellent, they were very creative in solving a couple of problems that arose during the installation and everything is working well. Their recommendations on which products to use and how to maintain them were very helpful. Highly recommend."

"I got two exterior doors and a storm door. I am in love with the quality and look of these doors. They were on the more expensive side but the sales person worked with me to find the most affordable option. I feel at ease in knowing these doors are of the highest quality and a warranty to back them up! Thank you Mad City Windows!!!"

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Instead of a security door, you might opt for a heavy-duty screen door made from durable mesh, which allows better sunlight and airflow. Additionally, you could enhance security by installing strong locks on your existing door. A double-cylinder deadbolt provides robust security; however, be aware that some local laws prohibit them due to safety concerns during emergencies.

Yes, professional installers use weather-resistant materials to protect the dish and cabling from environmental damage.

A storm door should be the same size as the front door. Both doors will fit into the same opening on the exterior of the home, so you can expect the storm door to be the same size as the front door. Most doors will be about 32 or 36 inches wide and 75 or 81 inches tall, although you can customize your door sizes.

No, a storm door should not replace a regular door. It lacks the durability, insulation, and security of a proper exterior door. Most storm doors have lightweight frames and minimal locking hardware, and they aren’t meant to stand alone. While they work well as a backup to your main entry door, relying on one as your only barrier would likely lead to drafts, higher energy bills, and safety concerns.

If you know the damage a hurricane can cause, you know how essential it is to protect your home. Getting ready for hurricane season can go beyond roofing reinforcement and extend to other external entry points where water and wind could damage your home. You may want to install hurricane window film to protect windows and glass doors or invest in storm windows. Storm windows cost an average of $12,000 and offer impact-resistant window surfaces with a better chance of fending off high winds.
