Hi we like to specialize in jobs that bigger company won't take on we prioritize smaller jobs to the best of our schedules. We are not about the huge mark up. But are not afraid to take on bigger jobs. As we can easily accommodate and adapt. Family ran business. We offer a variety of different types of work from base construction. To finish and tuch up. And everything in-between if you have a honey to do list that's getting out of hand we can be there to help. Maybe you just need some extra hands on a project to bring it the rest of the way. The sky the limit. We also do insaltion work plumbing work flooring paint and drywall. 12 years and counting. Trim work as well.

My name is Brandon Wood, I have been in the carpentry business for 4 years! At the beginning of 2023 I opened my own business, Lakewood Handyman. I can do all jobs big and small! I am a licensed heat pump installer, and I specialize in all things flooring. I do however provide all handyman services big and small such as; Remodels, demo, drywall, ceilings, roofing, deck building, tiling, painting, plumbing, landscaping, waste removal, you name it! If I am unable, I will be honest!

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

The cost of installing spray foam insulation is $2,760 on average, but this cost can be as low as $650 or as high as $7,700. The main cost factor is the size of the insulated area and the type of spray foam insulation.

Polyurethane spray foam costs between $0.44 and $1.50 per board foot, where a board foot is equal to the volume of a one-foot length of a board. More expensive options, like soybean or vegetable oil spray foam, range from $1.50 to $3.00 per board foot.

The costs range from $1.50 to $4.00 per square foot, depending on the type of insulation, labor, and home size.

Insulation can be easy to install, depending on the condition of your walls, but there are many safety considerations and potential challenges involved. For example, most types of insulation are made from materials that can cause irritation if inhaled or if they come into contact with your skin. Additionally, installing insulation incorrectly can actually make moisture issues in your home worse.

Natural fiber batts and spray foam insulation both work great for soundproofing. Newer materials, such as hemp batts, are more expensive but more effective for insulation and sound blocking. They are also more sustainable. There is also a professional system called Blow-In Blanket Insulation (BIBS) that is soundproof and moisture-resistant. However, BIBS must be installed professionally and can be a costly investment.

Polyisocyanurate foam, or polyiso for short, has the highest R-value per square inch: 6.5 to 6.8. Polyiso is a rigid foam that comes with a reflective foil on both sides to serve as a radiant barrier. Given its high R-value, rigid foam is usually meant for foundations and basement walls.
