NORTH COUNTRY ROOFING

I have an open concept home with 4 sky lights.  These were original to the home built over 23 years ago and just constantly leaked no matter how many times we climbed up and sealed them so I wanted them replaced.   When they came out to inspect, they recommended sealing 2 of the 4 since they were in good shape and just replace 2 since the inner seals had broken.   I asked them about just removing them instead of replacing since I always had them covered and really can't stand sky lights.    This was complicated because the metal roof had been on for 10 years and they had to match the new panels on the roof and the wood had to match in the ceilings so it blended with the old.     They were meticulous throughout the process down to making sure the appropriate insulation was used and the wood was stained as close to the color of the current ceiling.    No corners were cut and you can't event tell we ever had sky lights on that side of the house.   We're thinking of pulling the other 2 sky lights next year and we will be using these guy's again.

Within an hour he was at my home and on the roof. The problem was that someone did not screw down the roof cap over the stove pipe and the recent wind storm we had blew it off. He fixed the problem and left. I think this guy did a great job in the initial roof install and stood behind his work by coming out immediately to find out what the problem was and fix it during a holiday week for the school kids. I recommend this guy and his company without reservations. I also called 3 of the references before I hired him and the people I talked to couldn't say enough good things about him.

I got 4 bids from roofers, Rob's bid was the lowest and the other roofers did not warranty their labor. Rob gave me a 5 year warranty on his labor and 40 years on materials. The job he completed just looks beautiful. I gave him 1/2 down, he delivered materials and started and completed my roof in October as promised. I could not be happier with the quality of the job. I also found that Rob was very professional.

Rob was the only one that called me back for after a request for an estimate. He and his assistant went above and beyond, were prompt and neat. They worked despite discovering a hornet's nest! They worked on the 4th of July! the roof was on in the time they estimated, and is still holding up after the biggest snow winter we've seen in recent years. Rob called me back whenever I had a question, and answers his cell phone all day, really responsive.
