"Generators of Maine just completed the installation of a 14kw generator with parallel transfer switches, to protect 2 separate metered panels at a rental property that I own. I didn't even know that this was possible, until Doug Sawyer suggested it. The incremental cost of protecting the additional panel with the parallel transfer switch arrangement was a fraction the cost of an additional generator and transfer switch.
