Charge for labor was expected ($175/hr) but charge for replacement breaker was very steep in my opinion. Replacement part is $8 in store, was charged $168. I guess the $168 could be chalked up to paying for the knowledge that it was the problem, but to me that seems like what the labor charge should be for. Wouldnâ t consider it an emergency replacement either. Oh well."

It was low on Freon.  He had all the equipment (and supplies) necessary to fix the trouble and even offered up advice on what to do with an older unit.  Plus added a sealant to help with any micro leaks we may have had.
