It was 2 days before Thanksgiving and my power kept flickering on and off. I had the power company out to my home who informed me that the box where the main power comes in...under the meter needed to be replaced and I had to call an electrician to do that. I had been coordinating with another electrical company while I was at work, to have someone come out that day. Unfortunately despite their efforts to find an available electrician, by 3:00 p.m. they were still non-committal. So in desperation, I decided to use Angie's list for the first time. That is how I came upon Resolute Electric. Contact was made within 5 minutes, and Clause who is either the manager or the owner was at my home within 1 hour to complete an assessment and quote me a price. He had one of his electricians at my house within another hour and the work was completed by 8:00 p.m. . He did not charge me any extra for the late hour of service simply because he was more concerned about our safety then making or taking advantage of our desperation. Both Clause and Randy displayed a level of professionalism and work ethic that you don't come upon very often these days. That being said, I felt it was important that they're excellence be acknowledged. I can't thank them enough.

Klaus was the only pro who contacted us after 2 requests made in Angi. The job was at our Ocean City, Maryland beach condo that we were visiting for the weekend. Klaus responded quickly by phone and was able to come over the next day while we were still in town and listen to what we wanted done and talk us through how he would handle our project -- all without charging a fee. The following Monday after we returned to our DC metro area house, he emailed us a reasonable estimate and did not even require a partial payment upon our acceptance of his offer. Even though we would not be present for the installation, we felt comfortable with Klaus completing the job according to our wishes. He picked up the fans we had ordered at a local distributor and included the cost in our final bill. He kept in touch by phone during the installation and resolved a few unforeseen issues on the spot. Since we were not able to come back to inspect the work for a couple weeks, we offered to make a partial payment, but Klaus refused. It was refreshing to deal with a contractor based on mutual trust and get the desired result. A minor concern was that one of the fans had a slight wobble caused by a couple loose screws on the mounting stem, but we were able to quickly rectify the problem ourselves. We highly recommend Klaus due to his reliability, trustworthiness and completion of the project to our satisfaction.

I would highly recommend Resolute Electric. Klaus contacted me very quickly after my initial request and came to the house to assess the work request. I had two rooms that required different ceiling light installations and Klaus provided me with several different options for each install. The work was scheduled promptly and completed with the upmost professionalism and care. Klaus explained the work being performed as he went through each project enabling us to get the exact install configuration (type of light/bulb, positioning, switch options etc.) we required. The work was done patiently, not rushed and we were consulted throughout the day. Pricing for the work was very reasonable and as quoted i.e. no surprises. The quality of Klaus's work was exceptional and I'm extremely happy with the installations. I will definitely use Resolute Electric again when I need another electrical project.

Klaus Braun did a great job! I had some work that needed to be done in my family’s beach house. Timing was flexible so Klaus came by when he had some time free, expertly replaced the fixtures and was done within an hour! Price was very reasonable and job perfectly done. I have a new electrician!

Klaus moved our wired electric panel and re-wired the entire kitchen. He added amazing lighting including recessed lighting, under counter lighting and toe kick lighting. He installed relocated electrical receptacles for the dishwasher, garbage disposal and water pump. Did beautiful finish work. Very good at communicating and saying yes when I asked for more. Pricing very reasonable. Very dependable and amicable. Highly recommended.

Klaus, owner of Resolute Electric, showed up initially to complete the estimate. Klaus was on time, professional and left us feeling we chose the right guy for the job. Klaus provided an estimate within 24 hours, we scheduled the date of the installation and Klaus arrived exactly when he said he would be there. He was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done, did not hesitate to get started and completed installing the flood light in exactly the area we wanted and removed power to the base board heating at the junction box. The flood light needed to be hard wired and Klaus was nothing less than stellar from the moment we met him to the time he left after completing everything we requested. Resolute's pricing is very fair and anyone that uses Resolute will 100% be satisfied with the price and work performed.

Excellent service! I found him to be excellent in communications as he responded to my messages in a very timely manner; he was very professional and at the same time friendly. He was extremely helpful in advising me the best and most economical way to fix the on/off system for the fireplace so I would be able to operate it with a remote rather than to have a switch installed that would be costly not just in the electrical work but also having to drill holes in the walls unnecessarily. The fireplace now works perfectly with the remote he installed. His rates were reasonable and within what I had expected to pay. I am happy and would definitely use him again and would recommend him to my neighbors and friends.

I have to be honest. I dont always go in and provide reviews unless I have been provided superior service. I have been working with contractors at all three of our properties in the Ellicott City area and here in Ocean City, Maryland. Klaus responded to our request almost immediately. We spent the evening defining the work that needed done and set the appointment up in 5 days. Klaus was prompt at 7:30 am with tools in hand. There were multiple things needing repaired and some not even electrical but Klaus detailed each to my satisfaction but stuck to the original task at hand that we discussed. He estimated the timeframe and price and was almost done down to the minute. He was pleasant and COVID caring which put us at ease. We were so impressed with Klaus we are in process of getting the other issues repaired as we have full confidence in him. And last but least and equally important was the cost. He came in under budget which was the icing on the cake. Again, I do not do reviews often but this was just over the top service that needs to be out there if you need any electrical work. The job went perfectly. Mr. Braun was responsive, friendly, professional, and dependable. It is hard to give estimates over the phone, but I spoke with another electrician for comparison purposes who estimated the work would take two men three hours at a cost of $300. Mr. Braun did the work in four hours, but that was doing it all by himself, and charged $300 total based on his hourly rate. He did not know the other estimate, so he was not trying to match it. The work was done efficiently and well. We are very pleased, and I would definitely use his services again or recommend to friends or family! We appreciated his honesty, work, and skill. Great. Klaus was a professional from start to finish. He surveyed our needs and came up with a reasonable estimate within a day after we talked. He was on time for the initial contact and then when he started two days later. The fan installation was a breeze and the price was more than reasonable. Mr. Klaus arrived at my house within 2 hours of calling. He made me aware of everything he had to check out and the possibilities of what could be wrong. Within a very short amount of time he was letting me know what he found and what he would have to do to fix the problem. He gave me different options and recommended the best solution to me.
