The two guys he sent to do the work were efficient and skilled - a lot of windows and a lot of high ladder work. Victor did a nice job crafting pieces of trim where it needed to be replaced (a match wasn't available at box stores or Wilson lumber). The workers kept me informed and accommodated a few small requests I made. Jerry's estimate of cost and time was dead on and much more reasonable than other estimate I got. Stacy kept good communication with me through email and made everything as convenient as possible

We schedule the work and his crew arrived on time as scheduled. They were courteous and professional. The ceiling job turned out to be more of a carpentry job than a drywall job but the crew easily adjusted and completed the work. They did a good job with the flooring and deck work as well. I will definitely use again

He did not want to take any risk with the poor weather for exterior painting. Jerry kept in touch with me on the scheduling, and I had no problems understanding the delays. Jerry's staff were good workers, competent and friendly. I was especially impressed with "Nestor," Jerry's leader in the exterior painting effort. Each day, the work areas were cleaned up and materials were put away. Jerry stopped by a few times during the course of the project to talk with me, to check on the status of the job, and to insure that I was satisfied. We had a walk-through at the end of the project and only one or two minor touch ups were required. Jerry is easy to work with, and it is obvious that he wants to insure that the customer is happy with the result

Bob Sloan came out to take a look at the work to be done. He took notes, and emailed an estimate to me within two days. He was thoughtful and professional so we hired him to do the work. It was scheduled within a week. He brought a total of four people. The carpentry in the attic was done in a few hours, but the electrician took quite a while to install the lights since it was a tight squeeze in some places, and there were some unexpected firebreaks in the walls. Bob came back the next day to patch up the holes in the walls. Overall they did a very nice job and were very polite and professional. We had a little trouble deciding how to arrange the lights in the living room and Bob and the electrician gave us their recommendations and we are very happy with the result

He directed us to experts to help us find the most durable and architecturally similar materials for the job. We purchased the materials (price included in the total project price). His carpentry crew prepared, constructed, installed and finished the railings. The overall cost was not cheap, but it was lower than estimates from other companies that we think were out of line. The other estimates were for durable railings but none of the railings matched the architectural design of the house. The railings we chose are architecturally pleasing and, because of the workmanship, we expect them to be durable

"In all, three interior doors needed repairs due to cracks in frame, and exterior door needed replacement. This required about 12 hours work so it was helpful to have the Angie's List deal for 8 hours of labor. Joe and his crew arrived promptly and did a very professional job. Just a heads up that he may not reply to you immediately after your purchase of services through Angie's List. But a call or email to him will be returned quickly.

The owner personally supervises all projects with a "hands on" approach. All sub-contractors are licensed and insured as well, and have a long standing relationship with the company. Payment for services is typically expected to be paid in full when the project is complete, but alternative arrangements are possible on a case by case basis

"Everything from the bidding process, through completion, was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Dimitri and every person who he brought into our home treated it as anyone would want their own to be treated. This was not a small project. They vaulted the ceiling in the living area, completely removing the roof on half the house, and did a full new roof. Matched the existing red oak hardwood flooring, and sanded/re-stained the entire upstairs. All the plumbing and electrical in the entire house was replace. New kitchen, 3.5 new bathrooms, finished basement, combined two bedrooms to make a master suite. New HVAC. New generator…. You name it, and it was done. When all was said and done, I think our two hall bedrooms were the one walls that weren’t torn down. We could not possibly recommend Dimitri and his company (his two sons work with him as well) any higher. They are honest, and hard working. Old school in all the best ways.
