Basement Systems USA came out and looked in the basement and at the window from the outside to discover there was no drain in the well and the water was filling up the well from underneath because the water had no where to go and then found its way into the basement. They drilled a hole from the the window into the basement. They attached a channel to the wall and installed a french drain leading to the sump pump. A new, stronger sump pump was installed. Luckily, I got the work done before the rain came the next day. The next day it rained and the basement was dry. Morgan explained the system to me after all the work was done.
