The guys were great - came on time worked hard all day and cleaned up after themselves. The only negative was at the completion of work when it was time to pay the amount was less than what was originally quoted. I told the guy that and he insisted that it was what he had. I even showed him the quote on paper. I paid it - glad it was less, but a few days later got a call from the office telling me I needed to pay another $1600 (the difference between the original quoted price and at the time of service price) I told her what the guy told me and she got a little rude saying "well you knew what the quoted price was" - yeah I DID know and was prepared to pay but after install HER guy insisted it was the price he had. I wasn't trying to get out of paying but the confusion on how much it costs was with the people working there. I didn't appreciate her attitude as if I was trying to skimp out of paying. Nevertheless, I ended up with this additional payment. However, the work is supposed to be guaranteed for life. No complaints there."

Their price was the best of 5 quotes I received and so the value was high. The only thing that was not perfect was that communication was slow, sometimes they did not respond to texts, but they were good when they responded, and they showed up on time. "I got home after several months away. The toilet flooded the bathroom on first flush. I browsed Angie's List the next morning and arranged for a visit the next morning by Charles Moon Plumbing (I have another toilet I could use). The plumber was prompt, very nice and helpful, presented 2 options for the repair, and performed the work quickly. Everything is still fine in September 2012. 
I bought a service contract that gives the customer 20% off on any work they do, including the work done that day. In retrospect, I would prefer not to have to commit to this company and for them to just use straight pricing without a service contract gimmick.
In April I phoned the company for an estimate to hook up my house to the newly installed county sewer system. The estimated price was much higher than the estimates from 2 other companies, even with the 20% discount. Bottom line: I will have Charles Moon do small jobs, but I'll have to go to a bigger company for large jobs.
