"Mis-diagnosed issue with Rheem AC unit. Diagnosed it as a refrigerant leak in the coil covered under warranty and recommended that I get in touch with the original installer to service the unit under warranty - which I greatly appreciated, and did. However, the original installer indicated that the unit was just a pound low on refrigerant - no leak in coil - and behaving as it did due to safeguards built into the unit to prevent damage to the unit."

"They are the local gas and electric company. Everything was well worth it. It keeps the house nice and cool. They price could be a little cheaper. The work is usually done in a day. The price, I do think they are a little pricey. We trust they do quality service and sometimes you want to pay more because you want to get the quality."

"I was not disappointed in their service, but they did not exceed our expectations. There were some spots on the deck that the stain missed. There were some bolts they said they were going to screw back in from wear and tear, but they never did."

"Oscar and his crew were absolutely wonderful and did an amazing job enhancing our backyard with a large paver walkway and grill area. This is the second project I hired Solid Brick Contracting in the last two years. If you are looking for a professional and high quality company to enhance any type of landscaping hire this company. After discussing the project and budget Oscar designed a beautiful walkway then made sure all the supplies were ordered to complete the project. Oscar and his team were very meticulous in cutting each paver so each piece was matched perfectly. At the end of the day the crew left the work site cleaned and organized. The work was very detail and just beautiful. Thank you for being professional and proficient. I will definitely recommend you to my friends and hire you for future projects. Job well done!"

Gas Grill Installation FAQs, answered by experts

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

Yes, professional services include proper fuel line connection and ventilation to meet safety codes.

Gas grill installation costs around $540 on average, not including the price of the actual grill, and most homeowners pay between $120 and $1,400. This total will go toward laying down a new gas line, connecting it to your existing gas system, pressure testing the line, and connecting it to your grill. Your total project price will depend on the length of the gas line, whether or not the line needs to be installed underground, and the cost of the permits in your area.

Built-in gas grills typically have a life span of 10 to 15 years. However, their longevity can vary based on quality, usage frequency, climate conditions, and maintenance routines. High-quality models made from durable materials tend to last longer. Additionally, regular cleaning, covering the grill when not in use, and conducting routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning burners and replacing worn-out parts can extend its life. A well-maintained built-in gas grill can provide excellent performance and memorable cooking experiences for a decade or more, making it a worthwhile investment for outdoor cooking enthusiasts.

No. Placing a built-in grill against the house is discouraged due to safety concerns. Building codes and regulations often require a minimum distance (typically 10 feet or more) between a gas grill and any combustible structure, including a house. Placing a grill too close poses a fire hazard and risks damage to the siding or structure, potentially leading to carbon monoxide buildup. It's essential to consult local building codes, follow manufacturer guidelines, and prioritize safety by positioning the grill at a safe distance, ideally in a well-ventilated outdoor kitchen or designated grill area.
