"Selecting Guerra Construction LLC was the Best decision we made to replace and extend our Deck with composite decking. They replaced the railings and stairs coming out of the house as well as the stairs at the bottom of the deck. It was even included in the contract to move our extremely heavy gazebo to the extended area. Additionally, when you come out our front door there was a steep step down onto the step that we felt was a safety issue. After discussion with Guerra Lead person, Mr. Jairo, he came up with the idea to construct a front porch with railings and stairs using the same materials as the back deck. Best Idea!!! We had bids from other construction companies. After analyzing the bids, Guerra offered the best price and were very detailed in their contract. There was no second guessing what needed to be done. As a matter of fact, we was able to use Guerra information to find out if line items on the other company contracts were covered which led to them nickel-and-dime us in their pricing. We did not feel comfortable doing business with them. Guerra folks are true professionals, courteous, on time and cared about their results. They take great pride in their work. Their performance was outstanding. They paid attention to what we wanted and ensured we were satisfied customers. Even when we had delays in our material they kept communication open and immediately worked us into their scheduling once the material arrived. We will definitely use them for our next project as well as recommend to others."

"His work was OK but slow. He gave me a time frame of one month and it took more than two to complete the task. Mr. Barna never put in an 8 hour day. A few hours here and there. Sometimes he just showed up and dropped off some materials and left. Usually he appeared around Noon and was gone by three P.M. He also did some things of questionable nature like framing the deck on top of my shrubbery. When I asked him why he would do such a thing he replied "Usually the customer will us not to" His words "You know how it is some times when you get on a roll you don't want to stop ? " His son stood there nodding his head in agreement. This seemed to be a no brainer to me that if your going to build something you would be sure there was nothing in the way to interfere with that construction. If I had not caught him in the act and insisted he cut down the shrubs he would have surely continued. By now I would have bushes growing up under the deck and between the boards of my deck. Another move was the removal of some of the siding where the old deck was connected to the house. It was raining that week and I happened to go downstairs to get a tool. Water was running down the cider blocks above the windows because the rain flashing was not properly reinstalled. Now I have trouble with the gazebo door not shutting and out of alignment and the gate posts are loose and need reinforcing to make them solid. I have tried to get him to come over and look at his work sent him E-mails requesting assistance but to no avail. He E-mailed me back and gave me attitude about how busy he was and yadda yadda. Mr. Barna had no problem taking my money though. Every time he knocked on the door it was I need another 10,000 dollars. Ten thousand here ten thousand there to the tune of 46,000.00 dollars i paid. I kept my end of the contractual agreement and paid him in full and on time. Now that the project is finished and payment requirements have been met it so long. I call for service and what do I get ? Attitude and I will get to it when I get to It. The **** with my plans right ? The irony of all this is that the deck hasn't even been used yet and its already falling apart. loose gates and doors that wont close lumpy siding that was not replaced but just shifted around is not the mark of a good craftsman and the refusal to come over in a timely manner speaks for itself. It seemed that the closer we got to the end of the project the sloppier he got. Smearing window caulking and screens that don,t fit the window openings all spell sloppiness and just get it done. If I had to rethink this project again, I would rethink this project again... and not with Russett Decks."

"Quality work and smooth project start to finish - This was one of the easiest and best contractor experiences we’ve had and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for future projects. Jim came out to give us an estimate on about 80 feet of privacy fence between our property and our neighbor’s, showed us our options and pricing and was totally knowledgeable and low pressure. We had another estimate scheduled but we were so impressed with the initial consult and the photos of their work that we just went ahead with them and we were glad we did. On the job day, Steve came out and personally looked over the site and answered all our questions and the fence was put in without a hitch. All the workers were courteous and everything was left clean and tidy. The fence looks better than I ever imagined a privacy fence could look and I feel like it really adds to the property. We would wholeheartedly recommend them. Thanks for a great experience and beautiful work."

"They did a nice job. Their sub-contractor did leave personal trash at our house and our dog got into it. She helped herself to half eaten pizza. I let Homelife know there was a problem immediately, and it was rectified quickly. Additionally, I wasn’t happy with how our footers for our deck were handled. I felt like a board could have been placed over the open holes for homeowner safety. My small dog fell in but luckily was not hurt. The holes were open for 2 nights with nothing covering them, and it just would have been nice if they had been covered during the time they were not working. I was told it was because they were being inspected the next day, but still, someone could have uncovered them prior to the inspection. I just felt that it was unsafe to do that. If I had a small child that wandered into the yard, it could have been devastating. It’s just a suggestion I would make, and for that and the trash issue, I can’t give them 5 stars. There were also a few times that I emailed and did not get a response. There is one corner that the top board on the rail is cut incorrectly, but I have been assured that it will be corrected. Other than that the deck is beautiful."

Kevin, the sales rep was the most knowledgeable and helpful of the companies we had quotes from. He took the time to sit down with us and go over every detail, as well as help us design the type of fence that we wanted, all while working within our budget. We decided to go with a little over 200 feet of 4 foot vinyl picket. The crew showed up exactly when they said they would and exceeded our expectations with the finished product. There were a few small issues that came up after the fence was installed and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed and we were completely satisfied.
