He replaced springs and cables, oiled springs, hinges, etc, and explained the need to oil parts more frequently because the garage is sometimes used for woodworking and the dust can affect the mechanics of the door. "The owner followed up with my inquiry, did a site visit and provided an estimate to my specifications.  The stone that I wanted had to be special ordered but upon arrival ended up on the grass instead of the drive.  A bit of an inconvenience but no damage was done to the grass.  The wall was built on time and no change to the final charge.  I was very pleased.

"BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT !!!!! I purchased a 2 hr handyman coupon to fix an exterior door that wasn't closing properly. This door needed to be fixed. A hinge had come undone I had heard that “winter was coming”. The repairman arrived on time and he suggested an alternative fix to re-notching the hinges and tearing out the framing of the door. My door was closing perfectly in half an hour! This quick fix gave me time to address some repairs I had thought out of reach of this coupon. In short, within my 2 hours, my handyman had patched a crack in my concrete steps and in the driveway (using a mix I had on hand as well as some materials he had in his truck), moved my air conditioner to the basement, and performed many tasks that single women call “please move this and put it there”. "They came to my house at 1:35 this afternoon. I called them this morning around 6:30-6:45 and they said they would be here around noon. I walked them through the house and told them everywhere there was tape that I needed them painted and provided the paint. I showed them outside the things I needed to have done. They asked me what needed to be done first and I told them outside. They went ahead and took off the garage trim and the bay window trim and repaired and repainted them. They only painted around the area that they repaired and didn't paint the whole area. He told me that he didn't have an extension to get the rest of it. I told him about this when I spoke with him this morning. They didn't bring an extension for the paint roller. They were aware that these were the things I needed done when I called them this morning and they came unprepared. They came with two people and they haven't done nearly as much as I needed done. Since there were two of them, they only stayed for two hours since the big deal I purchased was for four labor hours. After an hour and a half of work they are still working outside and haven't done anything inside the house that I needed done. I provided drop cloths to keep everything clean, inside and out. I had to ask them to clean up the driveway because they got paint on it. I shouldn't have to ask for them to clean up after themselves. I didn't get the work done that I thought I was going to and I am left with half of my project incomplete."
