"Went well. The installers showed up on time, installed the equipment and explained how everything worked. They even completed the paperwork for my rebates. They scheduled the inspections for me on convenient dates. The county building inspector found two fixes were needed (locking caps on compressor and UV listed sleeve on AC outlet). On the scheduled day for the repair they showed up 15 minutes early and fixed the problem. Passed subsequent inspection with no problem."

Ryan came out and gave us a quote that was very reasonable for a complete AC replacement, and we had it scheduled to be done within the week. The techs were knowledgeable, super friendly, and thorough and did a fantastic job! I was given a walkthrough of the new system when they were done, and the techs even tried to help fix our wonky screen door. Amazing, amazing customer service, I highly recommend them."

"I originally reported a small wet area in the basement, so they sent out one technician. He used a special piece of equipment to check for moisture under the carpet and found a much larger wet area. When he lifted the carpet we could see the damage was far more extensive than what we thought. Instead of coming back the next day, this awesome technician removed half the wet carpet in this very large basement BY HIMSELF, applied anti-mold solution, and bagged and removed wet, ruined items. I don't know how he was able to carry all that wet heavy carpet alone, but he did it cheerfully. He cut into wet drywall and set up driers to dry out the area. Every day for three days someone from the company came by to check on progress and reposition the driers until the area was completely dry. They also took photos and communicated with out insurance company, which made it much easier for us to get the claim paid.
We were so impressed that we had to write this review so other Angie's List members know about this great company. They also do carpet cleaning, and we will definitely use them again. Service like this is rare these days. Kudos to Hydro-Clean for an amazing job.

"I have had a service contract with McCrea Heating and Cooling since I purchased my condo unit new 7 1/2 years ago which included 2 maintenance visits a year. My current contract expired yesterday so I called to renew my service contract and upgrade from "Bronze" to "Silver." The representative took my charge card information over the phone. I asked if the contract was in effect as of today. They said "yes." Then I tried to schedule a service call (my unit was serviced a little over a month ago and now the condo wasn't cooling.) I was told then that the Silver Contract would NOT be in effect after all. The difference in price between Bronze and Silver is the cost of a diagnostic visit so they were getting the money one way or another. My long time history with the company did not persuade them to honor the contract I had just paid for. They wanted to charge me $98 to have my problem diagnosed under the Bronze contract that I pointed out was already expired. I was told the representative "misspoke" and should have told me they would have to send out someone to determine whether the furnace they have been maintaining for the past 7 years (with the most recent service call just a month ago) would "qualify" for the Silver plan. So, I cancelled the order for the Silver Plan. I called another company who came out for $30 and determined the problem was a clogged condensation drain. This drain was supposed to have been "blown out" when the regular maintenance was done by McCrea just a month ago, but obviously was not. The water was backed up in the drain pipe and filled the pan under the furnace/AC unit which turned off the AC. Now that everything is working again, I am seeking a different maintenance service plan provider. McCrea has competitive service contract prices, but if they have no customer loyalty, and the maintenance work is not done properly, maybe it's a question of "you get what you pay for.""

"The gentleman that work this business go above and beyond to make the best suggestions for they work required. This is the second time I have hired them. My sub pump went after and more rain was coming they came out with 2 hours to fix the problem. Extremely professional man. I will be er use any other plumbing business other than Pohlman. I highly recommend if you have a plumping issue."
