"It is rare that I come across a contractor that is worthy of an all-around 5-star review, but Tom Dodge absolutely deserves that distinction. Tom efficiently installed a central vac system in my existing home over two days with surprisingly little disruption or construction intrusion. I found him to be prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and easy to work with in addressing my concerns and requirements. Tom is an honest, hard-working, hands-on, conscientious professional who does all of the installation work himself. "I was referred to Grove by a family member after receiving estimates from two other companies. Garrett Grove arrived on time to provide an estimate. He was efficient, knowledgeable and unlike the other two companies, did not waste my time with a bunch of useless chatter. After reviewing my system, he was able to write up and print out an estimate on the spot. He went over the warranty and explained what all was included in the installation price. This process took approximately one hour. I went with the high efficiency system which vented to the outside of the house rather than up the chimney. After showing me what the outside venting would look like, I was not pleased with the appearance of the vents so Garrett showed me an alternative. Unlike the other sales people, Garrett was able to show me brochures with pictures and information of exactly what I was buying and online images so I knew precisely what I was getting. A down payment was made and a date established for installation. The team arrived on time and went about their job with little disruption to my household. I was kept informed of the progress and was told when I would lose water and/or heat while the installation was performed. I was consulted along the way as to where I wanted various pipes vented to the outside. The job took two days to complete. When the men were finished, they cleaned up the work site and showed me various points about the system, set up the thermostat and explained how it worked. While Grove's system was certainly not the least expensive, I am confident that I received a quality system and installation, and anticipate that I will continue to receive quality service in the future."

"I originally reported a small wet area in the basement, so they sent out one technician. He used a special piece of equipment to check for moisture under the carpet and found a much larger wet area. When he lifted the carpet we could see the damage was far more extensive than what we thought. Instead of coming back the next day, this awesome technician removed half the wet carpet in this very large basement BY HIMSELF, applied anti-mold solution, and bagged and removed wet, ruined items. I don't know how he was able to carry all that wet heavy carpet alone, but he did it cheerfully. He cut into wet drywall and set up driers to dry out the area. Every day for three days someone from the company came by to check on progress and reposition the driers until the area was completely dry. They also took photos and communicated with out insurance company, which made it much easier for us to get the claim paid.
We were so impressed that we had to write this review so other Angie's List members know about this great company. They also do carpet cleaning, and we will definitely use them again. Service like this is rare these days. Kudos to Hydro-Clean for an amazing job.
