First, he agreed to give us a “painter for a day.” Second, after we agreed to have Sheldon/Sons do the work, they worked closely with us as the project needed substantial revisions. After stripping/powerwashing the deck, it was determined that the deck was made with mahogany, a rare and expensive wood for decks. Rather than simply proceeding with application of the solid stain we originally requested, Scott Sheldon had his Sherwin Williams rep come out to determine the best option for refinishing the deck. And then Scott came to meet with us personally to discuss our options. We ended up using an Exotic Hardwood stain for the boards and rail caps. And after some steady rains kept the workers away for a few days, they got the project done promptly once the weather cleared. We are very thrilled with the outcome!"
