Maryland Remodeling & Design/Build is capable of handling any type of home improvement project. Since we are involved in both the design and build aspects of the projects, we are able to work with customers directly and turn their ideas into reality, which can often get lost with a middleman. We consider every home improvement project a partnership between the homeowner and ourselves, and unlike many contractors, we prefer the homeowner to be involved throughout the entire process. Deck or Porch
I was pleased with this experience from the beginning to the end. We had a large deck almost rebuilt (some of the foundation and all rails/steps/boards). We ran into additional concerns that were handled professionally and the team went above and beyond my expectations. The project was very organized and I was continually updated as we went through the steps...all the way to completion. The end result was a high-quality and beautifully crafted deck. I will certainly use this team again and highly recommend.

Very professional from start to completion. Throughout the job the staging and working areas were kept neat and organized. Scheduling dates and activities were advised of and maintained. Most of all we are extremely satisfied and happy with or end product. Great Job!

Garage Building Service
This may have been the best experience I had with a contractor. This contractor went above and beyond all my expectations and I would hire him again. The finished product looks great and was built to the highest of standards; ours neighbors keep praising how our new garage compliments our house and looks like it was always meant to be there. You can not do much better then this contractor.

rob and mike were pros.indicated work would take one week. started on tuesday and finished 2nd paint coat on monday. while thet were here, i had them do another repair job without seeking other inputs from other contractors.

Excellent. I'd say he went above and beyond. Not only did he recommend a less expensive option for our porch post, he picked it up himself at Lowes - and when he discovered it had a scratch, he took it back and got another one before coming out. The job was completed quickly and looks great, and I'd definitely use him for another job.

Mike Hart was a good contractor, although his timeliness left something to be desired. He phoned ahead our estimate meeting and said he was running late. He arrived about an hour after the predetermined time. On each of the two days of work, he arrived 60-90 minutes later than scheduled with no prior phone call. However, his attitude was professional and his work quality. We are satisfied with the work completed but would have preferred a little more consideration with regard to punctuality and notification.

Fast and friendly service at a very reasonable price. This is my second experience with Maryland Remodeling & Design and I must say they did not disapoint. This builder is awesome. All together some of the most honest and genuine people i have ever dealt with. Several sittuations came up that were out of their control and were handled promptly and consideratly. Any concerns I had were addressed and any details i wanted were included and than some. My wife and I would certainly reccomend them to anyone looking to do a home project.

Addition to Existing Structure Building Service
We had a horrible experience with this company! Danny told us that the addition would be completed by Christmas, but was not completed until mid to late February. We seemed to become last priority. Many issues arose during this project, including us coming home to our door being wide open, as well as a candle lit when nobody there, a leaking window, etc. I voiced my concerns with both Danny and Sean but they both did not seem to care. There are many issues with their work after the job, including their failure to caulk the siding/trim windows, etc. If I were them I'd worry about their quality of work instead of whatever star rating they get!

"There were several factors in this job that caused a delay (zoning, design changes, blizzards) none of which was caused by the homeowner being our "last priority". The candle being left lit was caused by our employee who was reprimanded, this was the only thing above that was true. We have not been contacted with any concerns about the quality of the work and in fact thought we were on good terms with this customer. We originally were doing an addition but due to zoning regulation we could not, so why the addition is mentioned I'm not sure. Its disheartening to see this review from someone we went out of our way to please."

Garage Building Service
I had a garage with a full size 2nd floor built. My husband works in the construction business and had a lot of specifications for what he wanted done. Shaun Merrell made sure everything was done to my husbands satisfaction, he was always available to answer questions or discuss concerns. The garage looks great and I have gotten a lot of complements from my family, friends, and neighbors. I have already recommended him to people I know for remodeling jobs.

Everything abotu Maryland Remodeling & Design Build was perfect. They immediately responded to my initial inquiry, always showed up on time, were always available for question and kept to the price given in the estimate. Very helpful with lots of good suggestions and ideas on how to finish our basement. Everybody was very poilte, considerate and nice to have around. Project was finished ahead of schedule.
