"Juan performed multiple jobs for us including building a deck, remodeling a laundry room including replacing drywall and moving electrical outlets,installing light fixtures, cabinets and vanities in two bathrooms, painting the kitchen, dining room and two bathrooms and repairing brick steps. "We had a great experience with Granite Works. We contracted our countertop work on July 28th. We feel very fortunate to have met Art. He is very professional and not a high pressure sales person.  He was more of a designer and he took us out to the slab yard helping us find slabs that matched our kitchen design and equally important budget.. We were able to use their sample cabinet materials and coordinate them with the slabs, colors, movement and patterns.  He advised us on the best cuts, edgings, care, etc. Once we selected the granite within a few minutes, Art presented us with an estimate on the spot.  We placed a 50% deposit and the next day the office assistance called us to schedule our on site template. The template process was easy and thorough. It is very helpful if you take your kitchen photos with you and your detailed measurements.  That way your estimate is accurate and Art can help you with balancing movement, appropriate area for seams, if any.  Granite works provided the granite, onsite measurements, sink options, bull nose edging and included all cut outs, plus an Angie's List discount. Our price was $2500 less than a company in  the Mt. Airy. Within a week we had a template completed, in two weeks the fabrication of 2 slabs, and the installation of occurred on  August 9th. In 1 day! We elected to forego their 4" backsplash option and we designed and installed our own. Art's design consultation was very helpful.  After we finished 1/2 the backsplash we sent Art a thank you email with a photo.  He was so surprised and we were surprised and happy 1) he remembered us, and 2) he liked our natural stone tile work.  We recommend Granite Works for quality, professionalism and price.  Good luck and thanks Angie's List. "Hasan did an AMAZING job with my kitchen renovation. I needed cabinets (above refrigerator, tall pantry cabinet and under a kitchen bar) added to my townhouse kitchen. Hasan was hard working, courteous, patient and more than willing to help provide what I need within my budget and expeditiously. Hasan responded to my request for service quickly and politely. He came and measured, provided me with a quote the next day. We talked options and decided to move forward with the cabinets AND countertops which he also took care of sourcing and scheduling. "Great! He arrived on time, with the right amount of crew, tools and positive attitude! He was very experienced with Ikea cabinets and knew when we had purchased the wrong items. He also knew when to send me back to Ikea for different parts. Ikea made alot of mistakes and he knew that was common. He wrote down the numbers of the items i needed which was extremely helpful. He and his crew were fantastic and i would hire him again in the future. His prices were very reasonable and i appreciated that. I had two glass doors that were on back order so he said i could hold back $200 from his pay until they czme in. I called him on Sunday and told him i just picked them up. He told me they would be there on Monday morning to finish the job. Of course he arrived on time and he finished the job quickly. Of the 4 companies i hired to do various things in my kitchen his was the only one i didnt have issues with. I asked him to install the lights inside and underneath the cabinets and install the microwave. The lights were difficult but he worked hard until they were done. They make the whole kitchen shine! He was extremely reasonable with the microwave installation price. I asked him for several cards and already passed them out to people that wanted a new kitchen i told them he is the best installer i ever hired. He made this overwhelming project so much easier."

"They started at the scheduled time and proceeded to completion in an efficient and professional manner. Answers and telephone numbers were left for me to call if/should I want to change the configuration of anything done to the walls. More cabinets, hooks, etc. I found them to be an excellent provider. Our new kitchen included new flooring, which extended into joining laundry room (we chose porcelain tile),  level 1 granite counter top, tile backsplash, paint, new cabinets, and electrical work (we replaced a big light with 4 recessed lights, and moved the location of our appliances.)

New half bathroom included new vanity, granite counter top, flooring (which extended into the entry way), paint, and they installed a new toilet, mirror and light fixture which we purchased separately.

Ocean's estimate was the best we received. (One contractor gave an estimate for just refacing cabinets which was almost as much as Ocean's for brand new ones.) They also had great reviews on Angie's List so we decided to go with them. We worked with Sean. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Our installers were a team of 3 that worked very efficiently and cleaned up after each work day.

There were a few hiccups along the way, but I think that can be expected when doing such a major job. Both Sean, and the installers made sure that we were happy in the end.

We would definitely use them again. The price was great, as was the quality of work and professionalism.
