"My pond is the healthiest it's ever been, I don't know if it's because of backyard ponds, or whatever? But I now have baby fish about 12 of them and I am going to hire them to do my winterization. I got a very professional reminder from backyard ponds in the mail today, and I really appreciate the reminder. Sometimes things like this slip your mind, but it's very nice that they remind you that winter is coming up, and you need to plan for the future. "Amazing work yet again from Marvin and his crew. They arrived promptly at 9:30am and completed the job by 3:30pm. They removed vines that were growing on my retaining wall, cleaned weeds and dirt around the top of the wall, repairs the stairs, and retaining wall base. The fixed wall cracks, removed the old junk filling, and installed wire mesh, fresh sand, gravel, and concrete. Previous estimates ranged from $9k-$45k to replace the wall/stairs, but that was outside my price range. Marvin recommended repairing the wall which would buy me a few years and get me past this pandemic. I’d 100% use them again in the future and strongly recommend them to any of my friends doing home hardscaping or landscaping."

"Brian and Cindy are a 1-2 punch that literally had me jumping for joy.  I was incredibly nervous about re-doing our entire front yard in one large project with a company I had never hired before.  They were recommended by a neighbor who has used them over the last five years on two separate houses, so I had some knowledge of their final product, but I was absolutely thrilled with the results and surprised by how easy they made the whole process from beginning to end.  I'm a project manager for a living, so I have a tendency to be a "tough customer."  Beyond the impeccable customer service: multiple site visits, phone calls, texts, drawings, and both being on-site and hands-on during the actual installation, their prices beat out 4 (highly reputable) local competitors.    I never felt nickle-and-dimed.  In fact, quite the opposite.  They made last-minute adjustments when I made special requests at no additional charge.  He even treated my lawn and cut my grass when our normal maintenance folks didn't show up (needless to say, I'm now exploring a maintenance contract with Salt Creek Gardens).  In less than a week, several neighbors have stopped by to ask who did the work, and despite torrential downpours, the french drain is keeping the lawn from having its usual pools of standing water.  Brian was able to work with a long-time associate to negotiate a better deal for me on some large tree removal.  Between the tree removal, solving my water problem, designing and installing 3 new beds, and re-gravling my front, Salt Creek Gardens ended up being the perfect one-stop-shop for all my landscaping needs.  I definitely will use them again when it comes time to re-pave my front walk and re-do the back yard.

"Working with Mike (the owner), Jose (the lead craftsman) and Angel (his skilled assistant) was an absolute pleasure.  Mike is a very knowledgeable and nice person.  He responded well to all of our questions and concerns, and educated us about the intricacies of stone work.  He made sure that we understood precisely what to expect on this project.  Jose is an exceptional artist.  He has a great eye for setting stone and for details that make a difference.  For example, he shaped the end of the walkway as it met the stoop in a way that makes it quite aesthetically pleasing.  Moreover, we had not even thought of this or asked for it.  Both Jose and Angel did exceptional work in selecting and arranging both the flagstone (pavers) and the fieldstone (which went on the risers.  The result in front and on the side is exceptional.  The side was a half moon, and Jose and Angel cut and arranged the stone perfectly.  Moreover, both of these highly skilled men were very pleasant to work with.  They always showed up promptly and cleaned up very carefully every day.  We were thoroughly impressed with their total professionalism, and would use them again in any future projects. Mike clearly takes pride in his company's work.  He stopped by to make sure that we were happy with the finished project.  Not only did we tell him that this was a very positive experience with Maxsell, but told him that we would definitely call him for any future stone work."

"I found them on Angie's List. They came out promptly. It took the probably three weeks from start to finish and another week to do the touch-up work that I requested. When I called originally, the owner called me back on the weekend. He sent his foreman out to meet me the following week. He came out and we looked over the plans. They were excellent. They were timely and friendly. They were courteous and professional. They cleaned up on a daily basis after they did their work. Their concern was the total satisfaction of the customer.
