"They do great work. We had another company that gauged us and the pond filters and circulator were always breaking down. Since using Pond Doctor we have no issues. Twice a year maintenance and a beautiful pond that gives us a lot of pleasure."

"Mychael and Shawn were so fantastic to work with. They responded to my request so quickly and were doing the work the same day. They completely exceeded my expectations. I wanted some tulip bulbs planted and the yard cleaned up and they made it look so beautiful. They worked hard all day and I thought their pricing was very fair and reasonable. They also stayed with the quote they originally gave me plus supplies which I appreciate! Mychael and Shawn were respectful and kind and I am absolutely going to call them next time we need some yard work done. Thank you!!"

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Yes, waterfall edges are still in style and even considered a kitchen classic. At one time, they were considered trendy, but now homeowners appreciate them for their timeless appeal, which adds value to your home.

Water features enhance aesthetics, improve outdoor ambiance, and provide a soothing, tranquil atmosphere.

Smaller, pondless water features like bird baths, self-contained fountains, and bubbling rocks are much lower maintenance than their counterparts that include ponds. Pondless features help you avoid high pond maintenance costs and allow you to spend more time enjoying the water feature and less time on upkeep.

You have several options for your pond by getting your yard ready for the winter. You can winterize your koi pond by ensuring it’s at least 5 feet deep so it doesn’t freeze completely, installing a pond heater or aerator and having it run at all times, and installing a deicer if temperatures are dangerously low for an extended period. You can also choose to shut down your pond for the winter by removing all the wildlife in it and bringing it indoors, cleaning out the filter and pump, and then covering the pond with a tarp.

One of the most important parts of building a pond is digging the right depth. Your pond needs to be at least one to two feet deep. The specifics of the depth will depend on factors such as the placement of the pond and whether you plan on having fish. If you have fish in your pond, it will need to be at least two feet deep.
