"JJ and his crew did a great job and were extremely pleasant to work with! We initially hired them for our bathroom shower (which I gave them an A rating for in May '18; photo below.) We then hired them to install our kitchen. This was an old cottage so spaces are often uneven and hard to work with, and we were installing the kitchen into a space that had not been a kitchen for many decades. So it was an entirely new installation and not a straightforward one... Our counter tops were 35+ year old butcher block from my family home. They had to be cut and reassembled like a jigsaw puzzle, but they'd aged differently, and some included a back splash, others a back splash w/shelf. JJ did a great job of matching them up. He also worked very well with the designer at our on-line cabinet company (the cabinets arrived pre-assembled). Additionally, we were using a large antique kitchen sink, with decidedly non-standard proportions, so JJ had to custom-build a cabinet for that and make it work in our space. All in all, it was not a cookie-cutter job by any means. JJ has good ideas, runs a good crew, they all work hard, and I would hire them again. We're very happy with our old-looking new kitchen!"

Walter (owner) was in the difficult position of coming in and finishing up a remodel begun by another contractor who could not continue. Linares did a wonderful job and provided exceptional value. Walter was great at seeing how an original plan was maybe not the best way to go and proposing a more workable alternative. He is an excellent, dedicated craftsman. His wife, Wilma, was also on site everyday helping with details. There were many unexpected turn in this complicated job but Walter and Wilma held steady, remained flexible, overcame all obstacles, and created a beautiful, warm home space."

"The Simmons crew did a great job with installing new closet storage cabinets within our two en-suite walk in closets. The team arrived at the agreed upon time and immediately set to work on the installation. They laid out protective coverings on the floor to prevent damage. When issues appeared during the installation, they immediately conferred with me to resolve the issue. The installation went smoothly and the closets look great. They did a good job in cleaning up at the conclusion of the work and ensured all excess materials were removed from the site. Demetrius is great to work with, as he is very customer service oriented. This company comes highly recommended. I would definitely hire this company again for any future work."

From the time Tim Schlegel first walked into my house to give me an estimate until Jorge completed the final punch list adjustments, I knew that Basement Systems USA was the right choice to for the new room in my basement. Tim patiently explained the process that would take place from start to finish in complete detail. No questions were left unanswered. After we signed the contract, the initial meeting took place with the entire crew who would be working on the project (including the electrical and plumbing subcontractors). They were punctual and re measured and discussed all aspects of the job with us and told us essentially the time line for how things would progress. Fortunately we were assigned what I am sure is unquestionably Basement System USA's best carpentry team of Esteban Morales and Miguel Luna. Each workday Esteban courteously called me 30 minutes before their arrival at my home. They worked compatibly and as quietly as possible. Any questions/changes I posed were politely accommodated. They left the job site broom cleaned each day. They efficiently completed the job with no complications to my complete satisfaction. Dave Ryan, the shop manager was readily available for questions and adjustments by phone or email. He was always friendly and courteous and made sure that my wishes were taken care of without question. If I ever decide to complete the rest of my basement there is absolutely no doubt that I will hire Basement Systems USA again. I would not even consider hiring any other company. "The job took about 25 minutes. The technician was professional, courteous, and respectful of the 6-10 feet rule during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The only downside was the pricing $180.00. Considering the technician was able to arrive at my residence and make repairs under an hour after my initial call, I will not complain. Thanks for great service"

"Angie's List reviews made me go with GAC Services for a new furnace and air conditioning unit. Five mechanics showed up early in the morning in three trucks. They were clean cut young men and very polite. They made a lay down area in my basement with blankets. They wore covers over there shoes while in and out of the house. They were very respectful of my home. They worked non stop until 5:00 PM. They had a separate sheet metal mechanic that showed up and did really nice sheet metal work. I was impressed. After a year went by my thermostat went out and they came out and replaced it free of charge. I signed up for the maintenance contract and they come out twice a year . Once in the winter and once in the summer. Another part went bad after two years and it was under warranty and they replaced it free of charge. They are honest and reliable. I highly recommend them."
