"I would recommend Remedy P&D to anyone needing a plumber. They were fast to respond and schedule an appointment for a free estimate. "Five Star Bath Solutions did an amazing job on our master bathroom! Their customer service from beginning to end was top notch-- couldn't have asked for a better experience. "Job went well with only a couple of minor hiccups. The initial demolition went great and the clean up was excellent. The plumbing and electrical work was very good that moved various lines throughout the kitchen. The quality of the cabinets and granite counters were excellent quality and we were very happy with our choice. The flooring we had selected matched our existing flooring that connected the hallway and dinning room. The only issue we had was some miscommunication on certain painting aspects but they came back and corrected the issues. Overall - very happy with the finished product and hope to enjoy this kitchen for many years."

There are several types of sink drain stoppers, including pull-out, twist-and-pull, and pop-up. Pull-out sink stoppers can be removed by pulling on the stopper until it comes out of the drain. A twist-and-pull design requires lifting then turning the stopper to lock it in an open position and the opposite action (turning, then pressing down) to close it. A pop-up sink stopper works by pushing down the drain cover to open or close the passageway.

After about 15 minutes, you can flush the drain with hot water. In many cases, these materials can scrub out minor clogs and get the drain working properly again. If the issue persists, call in a plumber near you to get the problem permanently fixed.

When it comes to PEX versus copper, you'll find that many plumbers prefer PEX, which doesn’t corrode or allow for sediument buildup and is less likely to burst under freezing conditions. PEX is also flexible, so your pro won’t need to install joints to create certain angles. Provided it’s up to local codes, your plumber can also snake PEX through smaller holes in the wall without making additional cuts.

There are better options for a temporary fix for leaking pipes, such as repair sleeves, epoxy compounds, or pipe clamps.
