"Job went well with only a couple of minor hiccups. The initial demolition went great and the clean up was excellent. The plumbing and electrical work was very good that moved various lines throughout the kitchen. The quality of the cabinets and granite counters were excellent quality and we were very happy with our choice. The flooring we had selected matched our existing flooring that connected the hallway and dinning room. The only issue we had was some miscommunication on certain painting aspects but they came back and corrected the issues. Overall - very happy with the finished product and hope to enjoy this kitchen for many years."

While all bathtub faucets include a spout and one or two handles, they are not universal. How much it will cost to install an earthquake shut-off valve depends on who’s doing the installation. The price of the earthquake shut-off valve itself can cost between $250 and $750, and you’ll pay between $150 and $200 for labor if you hire a licensed plumbing contractor. If you install the valve yourself, you’ll save on labor, but you might need to spend $50 to $300 on the right tools for the job (and it’s a complex job that we don’t recommend DIYing).

  • High water pressure: High water pressure is hard on pipes over time and can cause cracks and leaks, too.
