We hired Misha and his team to remodel our 1975 ranch house, which needed a lot of care and attention. This is one of the best decisions we have made! After bad experiences with other reno projects in the past, we were very worried about taking on another project. Misha put us to ease after our first meeting, and our respect for him grew every day. Misha’s team showed up every weekday and even on weekends until the project was done. My neighbor, who is a real estate agent, told us she had never seen such a professional and reliable crew. His men were friendly and very accommodating, they began to feel like family. Their incredible craftsmanship exceeded our expectations, including installing a huge customized master walk-in closet and a living room built-in unit. Misha provided great counsel when we were planning the reno, had wonderful suggestions, and was open to all our ideas. Their prices were very reasonable in comparison with other area contractors. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

I had water leaking between the sunroom and family room via the doorway. I had pay extra given the fact that this problem was years old and there was substantial wood rot. The result? New siding, new sun roof tiles as well as patial sunroom roof replacement. The workers were very professional even though communication was difficult since they were Georgian but it was a pleasure trying to communicate with them as well as having them fix my house. I highly recommend them. Thank you Mr. Vayshelboyn and workers!!!!

We are very happy with the work completed by Misha's Home Improvement. Everything went smoothly and workers were coming every day on time. The quality of workmanship was excellent. We recommend this company and would hire again.

We hired this company to remodel our bathroom, and early on decided to include other rooms in the project, which turned out to be a devastating experience. They caused a water leak from the second floor bathroom to the first floor, which damaged the ceiling downstairs; the tiling and grout in the bathroom was installed extremely uneven and crooked; they cracked the toilet sewage waste pipe while trying to uninstall the old flange; they installed a fractured joint for the new shower plumbing; and they used an older technology that most other contractors (that we've talked to to fix everything) no longer use to finish the shower pan. And that was just the bathroom!! In the other rooms, they damaged the doors while trying to install new door hinges and painted them with the wrong type of paint, the paint is peeling off on every door (not even two months after they were painted). The crew installed new ceiling lights (which we now have to pull a permit for ourselves since the contractor "didn't plan on doing it")(also they are an older canister style fixture that is still produced but not the most modern thing; they don't sit flush with the ceiling) that are not properly secured to the ceiling, so they pose a falling hazard, PLUS the crew removed the cases from each light fixture where the wires are supposed to be protected, so now there are exposed, very lightly protected wires that pose a fire hazard if their coating gets sheered (which is apparently pretty easy to do since the wires aren't properly protected), PLUS they failed to staple the wires down (despite repeated reassurances from the contractor that they had) which only exacerbates the previous issue of a potential fire hazard. In addition to the craftsmanship concerns, the contractor's crew was ultimately very unprofessional. They sat a heavy saw down on hardwood floor in one of the bedrooms and operated it there, causing noticeable scratches to the floor; they smoked indoors without any sort of permission; they threw cigarette butts in the driveway, street and flowerbed in front of the house; they used our personal gardening tools to mix concrete and then failed to wash the concrete off properly; they poured excess concrete next to the side of the house (where it solidified on the grass).

The renovation went very well. It was an extensive project renovating the existing home (down to the studs, new HVAC, siding, windows, roof, new kitchen, 3 new baths, etc) plus adding an addition that is now our master bedroom, laundry room, and master bath area. Misha was punctual, professional, and kind. Our project took 7 months-longer than we had planned for but 90% of the delays were caused by the city requiring additional work and waiting for them to come out and inspect. I highly recommend Misha for your home improvement project!

The basement came out nice and I am happy with result. Communication was very good, had lots of opportunities to talk about all the details throughout the course of the work. Was given good advice.

It went very well. Arrived to complete measurements then came back with a quote. He was extremely detailed, very professional including the staff and completed excellent work.

Fine. There were a couple of places next to the fireplace that required some touch-up painting which I did after the job was completed, Some places on the edge of the enclosure where the AC duct is located have shown areas where additional paint is needed to cover up the edges. The workers who did the job were very professional and hard-working.

Misha was on time, and provided a detailed written estimate of services for a construction project.  However, my partner and I did not feel great about our interactions while he was in the home - despite my ongoing statements, he did not understand or would not go along with the idea that we weren't interested in beautifully tiling a basement bathroom, installing hardwood floors everywhere, etc.  He kept pushing upgrades on us and ideas that were very inconsistent with our explicitly stated budget and fanciness goals, and both my partner and I ended up feeling like he was schmoozing and pressuring us.  His estimate was lower than other contractors and he could start immediately, but we went with another company with a longer wait due to the interpersonal issues we experienced.

1. We were very pleased all the way around. Friendly, courteous workers arrived each morning for 11 consecutive days. Generally the work went from 8 am to 7pm. This pleased us because it allowed the job to be completed quickly.  Misha checked in daily and was very willing to add anything we requested. Also, Misha made a lot of very good suggestions. Our bathroom was gutted,  drywall was replaced, tiled walls, tiled floors, tiled tub enclosure, new tub, new toilet, new vanity , vanity lighting, new vent and heat lamp were all installed  in a very professional way. In the midst of all of this the snowstorm of 2016, came into our attic causing dripping into our bedroom. No problem- Misha,s company was there and willing to repair our ceiling on the spot.  Our new bathroom really is beautiful!This  is such a wonderful company- without a doubt we would ask them into our home again.

They showed up when they said they would, spent a lot of time finding out what we needed, and produced a very competitive proposal.
They were very professional and responsive at all times.
We chose another contractor, but it was a very close call. We were lucky enough to have multiple proposals that fully met our needs.

The previous homeowner contracted with Misha to install a tile roof-top deck that in less than five years is leaking. The design was poorly done. There is a 3-inch gap at the doorway which allows water to enter and leak through to the garage below. The subfloor is damaged due to the water, as it does not drain properly. I have not spoken to Misha, but we are now spending 2 x the original cost to repair a poor quality installation on a roof that should have at least 10+ years of useful life.

We live in a 4 bedroom rancher and wanted to build a master suite in un-used attic space.  We wanted to do this by code and Misha provided us with all the necessities.  We needed a architect to submit to county and Misha provided us with one he uses regularly. 
We also needed a new water heater and split/vac HVAC to support new area.  We used a different contractor than Misha had asked but he worked with our contractor with no problems. 
This attic renovation needed trusses to be re-arranged to support the roof and new insulation for the roof and addition.  The also had to run new gas pipelines for our gas fireplace on other side of house with no issues.  This new addition also included a full bath.  We supplied all vanities and tile and they had no issues with the installation.
This addition was very time consuming and often times frustrating I'm sure but Misha and his crew dealt with every problem and handled it professionally.  They now have provided us with over 500 sq ft of new living space in our home.  I would highly recommend them for any renovation.

On time, cleaned up, great job.

Very detail oriented. Hand crafted. Misha took care of all permits, design, scheduling. It took a bit longer than we thought it might, but that's exactly what we asked for. We wanted a quality product, not a rush job. It's our favorite room in the house and we couldn't be happier with everything.

they are not very responsive to email or to providing quotes. I have another job I need done and I sent an email but have not recieved a response.  I will find another vendor off Angie's List.
