"I've used American Professional several times at various houses I've lived in or owned. They are an honest and professional company that does good work and stands behind it. I recently got them to give me an estimate on rebuilding the top portion of a chimney that needs brickwork. They inspected the chimney, told me it was safe to use, and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the chimney rebuild, saying that it can wait until spring if I wish. From my experience, they will do everything they can to satisfy the customer, whether it's a simple chimney cleaning or custom work. This is the best chimney company in the DC area by far."

"American Chimney Sweeps was amazing from the 1st communication through text till they came out and completed the job. I hired them to clean my exterior dryer vent cover and remove it since I was constantly having issue of lint building up on it. I had them install a new NO-PEST VENT, Exclusive Dual Door Dryer Vent Cover so I wouldn't have issue of lint building up and they knew exactly how to adjust it to fit properly and installed it perfectly. They made sure to put sealant all around edges and went back up ladder to cover the screw holes from the previous cover with sealant as well. Lewis and his partner did a great job and I would definitely hire them again!"

"I was contacted the same day I submitted my inquiry and had a scheduled appointment with in 24 hours. Finest Chimney contacted me 25 minutes before they arrived and they were exactly on time. Cleaning took about 20 minutes and they were very thorough and professional. They even gave me some feed back about future roof/chimney repairs. "First time needing a chimney sweep to service,. Easy to deal with over the phone, honest and open communication as high potential for weather delays if raining. Absolutely impressed with the attention to details and overall finished work. We have gone from a squeaky flu opening to gliding and almost silent, the steel box is glistening. We even got a lesson on how to best operate the fire to send the heat into the house instead of up the chimney. We will rebook for sure."
