"This was a very stressful time for us: new home, major snow storm, massive leaking. CCR was a godsend. CCR provided a very fast, very thorough estimate: by far the most detailed and best of the three we received. We had trouble finding a contractor who would do all the various pieces of this job. We felt lucky to find a company that did both patio floors and roofing and structural work and drywall/painting.
Steven and Jenny were excellent about keeping in touch with us throughout the process, both with respect to timing of work and pricing. We had no idea what we would find once we opened up the drywall, and they were great about showing us and explaining to us best next steps and alternative solutions. We probably had four different crews at our house at various times: carpentry; roofing/patio; painting and drywall; and flooring. All of the crews were very professional: we had a pretty big project but they kept it very contained so that it did not interfere with day to day life or the rest of the house. They were very tidy with respect to the work space and any exterior debris. Also, when Steven said the crews were coming, they showed up on time every time. 
We have been thrilled with the quality of the work. Our new patio floor is lovely and matches our house perfectly. Steven spent a lot of time researching the best material for us to use as both a patio floor as well as the roof to our family room. We could have retiled but he helped us find a less expensive but just as effective alternative. We are very happy with the stucco-style result and our family room is nice and dry. Our family room is also unusual in that it is essentially a half circle with lots of curved surfaces. The drywall repair and painting looks amazing--as though there never was a leak. Because our formal living room was also affected by the leaky patio, it now has a beautiful new custom sliding door (Steven helped us find a good quality but not too expensive custom door) and gorgeous refinished floors--they are as smooth and shiny as a piano top. Every aspect of the project came out beautifully!
We have a number of other projects we will want to tackle in the next couple of years. We would be very very happy to work with Chevy Chase Remodeling again in the future.

"Our technician was on time and sealed our storm door to prevent water from leaking in. He also fixed the lock and the screen door on our sliding glass doors making them finally functional again and taught us how to grease the sliding door so it runs smoother. Excellent work and completed in a timely fashion."

"We needed to have shutters replaced on our townhouse. I moved to the DC area from the Midwest not that long ago and didn't "have a guy" for stuff like this. I am very happy to say, that I now "have a guy."
Justin was prompt, polite and very friendly during the entire process. One the first visit, I gave him the "laundry list" of other things that needed to be done. He priced them all in a written estimate. I just wanted to try out his company to see how things went before we started with the bigger items on the list. Things went so well, I will definitely be calling him again. In fact, I am writing this review after contacting him to work on another item from the "laundry list." The pricing was a little higher than I expected. But, 1) that could be coming from my Midwestern pricing experience and 2) the service and quality of work were definitely worth it.
Also, the immediate help I received from an unexpected event between the time I first called Justin and his first visit on site was a life saver. After I called to set up the estimate, there was a sudden storm that sent a power surge through the house and knocked out the air conditioning. Justin was coming over the next evening and I asked him for help when he arrived. (the summer in DC without air conditioning? no thank you very much). He made a call and someone was at my door the next day. I was expecting over the top pricing, but it was very fair and reasonable.
Overall, Justin and the folks he sent to do the work were friendly, efficient, polite and got the job done to my expectations. Will definitely be using Adam Contracting as "my guys" now.

"John Mycek and his team took on a series of upgrades to lighting, ventilation, ceilings and access in our dining area, kitchen, laundry and furnace rooms, as well as patching outdated/unnecessary openings in our attic and gable end. Even with a big winter storm delaying everything in the region, they were able to knock out the work in roughly two weeks. The price was quite fair, and we received suggestions from the team that helped modify our original plan into something more realistic and workable. All of the little renovations are making a big difference in the "working" spaces of our home. Would definitely hire this company again!"

"Work was high quality. The job took a while to get started because they were backed up just like all the other local roofers due to a large storm that damaged many roofs in the area. Once started they finished in one day and cleaned up well. Unlike several other contractors that provided me estimates, John Krause construction did not inflate their prices to take advantage of the market conditions. I feel like I was charged a fair and reasonable price for the work performed, using upgraded architectural shingles instead of 3-ply and also installing water/ice shield and drip edge as per latest building codes. Some of the other contractors wanted to just go over the old shingles rather than R&R and charge me just as much!"
