"Marvin and his team are excellent. They were prompt and rather than replacing a faucet, ended up fixing it for a saving of over $150! Also, the faucet they fixed was one where multiple plumbers said they could not fix and therefore needed to be replaced. One evens said they needed to break a wall! The original faucet is very expensive, so the $150 replacement was for a cheap Home Depot version. So yes, I would recommend them because of their skill and ability to get the job done. Also, very polite."

"We have used S&J Painting and Remodeling many times over the past 5 years, most recently (spring 2025) for handyman services. S&J provide services for a full day, so we typically accumulate a few projects. Our most recent project included replacing two faucets, fixing a very loose banister, repairing a hole in the drywall, as well as a few basic jobs, hanging pictures and installing bathroom fixtures. I expected to paint after the drywall and banister were repaired, but they took care of it for me. When replacing one of the faucets they found the supply lines were old and rusty. They went to Home Depot, purchased new supply lines and installed them at no extra cost. While there they picked up some brackets to secure some other loose pipes they happened to see while in the utility room. We really appreciate the extra attention to detail and doing more than we even realized needed done. We are already accumulating new projects. Scheduling and workday communication is excellent."

Ben and Teddy from Top Remodeling sat with us and came up with a better layout without changing the size of the home. They moved the hallway, opened the living area, and added a custom touch in almost every room. They rebuilt the inside from the studs and used solid-core doors and clean finishes. We went with soft white walls, bronze handles, and natural maple cabinets. Now, it all feels open and calm. Every room has a purpose."

They did an outstanding job from conception through to the last details in finishing an extensive series of renovations - complete kitchen tear-down and renovation, master bathroom and closet teardown and renovation, two bathroom complete retiling/renovation, building two new rooms out of a very large basement, and replacing two forced air HVAC systems - they managed all aspects including proper construction permits. They did high-quality work at a very good price. They did an outstanding job with the work, with high attention to detail. Although ,I chose the latter which was to have my dream kitchen and decide not to bend on that. Sam was thorough with all the final walk through and made sure I was happy before leaving my house. The workmanship was excellent, and the quality of the materials used was very high. I was a first-time remodeler, and I needed lots of guidance about what would work and what wouldn't. The only mistake they made was in occasionally assuming I knew something I didn't know, but the results were always beautiful, and within budget."
