About us
AHMANN LLC is a full service architectural firm specializing in distinctive residential architecture. The firm’s work includes additions, renovations, new homes and estates, all approached with quality attention to design and detail. Applying an in depth knowledge of space, form, light and history, AHMANN LLC creates impeccable additions and distinguished homes that engage the landscape. Our projects are at once responsive to the existing structure, site, overall context and most importantly -- the client’s needs. Thomas Ahmann, AIA, LEED® AP, received his Master of Architecture Degree from the University of Maryland in College Park. Prior to establishing his firm, he practiced in the office of Muse-Wiedemann Architects in Washington, DC where he served as Project Architect and Associate-in-Charge on a wide variety of residential projects. Thomas has been an adjunct faculty member of the University of Maryland School of Architecture. He holds registration in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and the District of Columbia.
