Project went well. Completed on time and within budget. Offered several solutions before we agreed to most cost effective approach.
 I have used Tab since 2003 when he did a makeover including expanding the kitchen by adding 250 square feet and a new porch. Used other contractors on smaller projects, but always disappointed, so I keep going back to him. He is not necessarily the cheapest contractor, but he will work with you and suggest cost saving measures when they become evident to him. Trust him completely with the house keys. Shows up when he says he will show up or provides a phone call when delays occur. Wipes his feet whenever coming in the house. Tries to minimize dust spreading to rest of house. Willing to let customer do the deconstruction effort and reduce costs.

Tab was very communicative which is great as it prevents misunderstandings.  Some of the work was contracted out to other professionals as needed.  All work/workers were very professional and we are extremely pleased with our finished basement!

The bottom line is -- we didn't realize what we were getting when we perused Angie's List for a builder but could not have been more pleased with our choice.  Thanks Angie and a Special Thanks to R. Talbott Construction.  Tab Miller, you are exceptional !!!

This is the second job we have hired RTC and Tab Miller to do for us and they again gave us an exceptional finished product.  Our back patio looks very high end and we get compliments on it all the time.  Very pleased with the work performed.  Had one issue with a stone and RTC came out immediately and reset the stone.  I would highly reccomend Tab and RTC construction.

We purchased a home in early 2009 in a nice neighborhood near family and friends, good schools for our kids but the home was in total need of repair.  The entire home was original from 1956 and had not seen any maintenance for close to 20 years.  There were animals living in many parts of the house, the roof had collapsed a bit in the kitchen and insects had overrun the place.  We knew this was going to have to be a total gut/teardown and rebuild.  We put the bid out to 3 contractors.  One contractor never returned an  estimate to us and the other two were very close.   We chose Tab and RTC Construction because of Tab.  He seemed very knowledgeable of the process, was professional and on time, answered all of our calls and questions and was eager to start our project.   Tab Started right away, about July, there were no times where the house was sitting without workers, everything went up so fast and the work was solid, there was nothing I could tell that wasn't done with pride and professionalism.  Jokingly we said it would be great if we would be in our new home for Christmas figuring there is no way he could tear down a house and rebuild it in 6 months?  We moved in on December 20th, I have nothing but good things to say about Tab and his company.  Top Notch.

They came early as they said they would.  He brought a lot of men and was able to work around my 2 and 4 year old Grandsons and my Chocolate lab.  They moved all my patio furniture so it wouldn't get damaged and then did a great job of cleaning up when they were done.  They laid tarps down in the lawn so there weren't any stray dirty nails for the kids to find.

Tab Miller and his team did an outstanding job.  It has been one year now since they performed the work for us, and we continue to love the changes they made to our house.  Tab is extremely professional, very responsive, very punctual, personable, and easy to work with.  He helped us clarify our ideas at the beginning of the project and had a good vision for what the possibilities would be for building a master suite in our existing space; he offered us three different design layout options for the master suite.  Tab completed the project on-time and did a great job of checking in and keeping us updated on the project as it progressed, and he did a great job coordinating all the different tradesmen and their schedules.  His tradesmen are very professional and polite; I never worried about a thing in the house while they were working on it.  Tab also always made sure that everything was nicely swept up at the end of the day and was meticulous about hanging plastic to prevent dust in the house--a detail which made living in the house during renovation so much easier.  He is very trustworthy and honest--we got exactly what we expected from the project.  To be perfectly honest, the entire project went much more smoothly than I expected.  We could not be happier with the work Tab Miller did for us, and we highly recommend him.

He did an outstanding job with an outstanding price. The communication with us was great as well. He got the work done when he said he would and I definitely would have him out again for future work. The suggestions he made were greatly appreciated and he went above and beyond what you expected. He is a very professional person.
