I was able to speak to an actual technician as my job is not about sewer, toilets, etc. Spoke with Sterling at Dun Rite Drain Cleaning and he gave good information and he also agreed I should contact the company that has the warranty. He did mention that the companies in general hire out the drain inspection as they do not have on staff such personnel. I was given a rough quote as FYI. The company with warranty had me take pictures and will get back with me after reviewing them. "On 05/26/18, during the 9.5 inch rain fall in Catonsville, MD, one of my pumps check valve broke, ejecting water across my basement . The pump was pumping continuously (waves were in my driveway.) We couldn't turn the sump off because of the amount of rain. I went on Annie's list and put out my request.
