"From start to finish, Renaissance Floor was absolutely fantastic! From the very first phone call to get an estimate, Amir was extremely helpful and detailed. His crew (Jose & Juan) ripped out our entire main floor, which included the entrance, study, living/dining rooms, powder room, closets, kitchen and sunroom, all of varying materials (hardwood, ceramic tile and carpet). We also had our old carpeted staircase redone with new wood flooring. They did an extraordinarily incredible job of reducing squeaks...even going to the extent of opening up the plywood subfloors to investigate the cause of the squeaks. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the installation crew. For the entire week they were at our home, they arrived just before 8 am and left around 5 pm. Jose and Juan were polite, clean (and very safety conscientious around our two small children) and didn't play any music whatsoever (unlike our kitchen contractors who played very loud rock music). Amir also visited and checked on how things were going on the first day and made a special trip for the staircase flooring installation. After all the floors were done, the crew spent about 1/2 hour vacuuming the mess and dust...it was so clean afterwards! Our in-store experience was wonderful as well. Amir and another store associate made us all (including our kids) feel very welcome and patiently showed us samples and taught us a lot about the different types and styles of each sample. Amir gave us a very fair price that included removal, disposal and installation. We would highly recommend Renaissance Floor to anyone looking for a great buying experience, a highly professional installation experience, and beautiful and detail-oriented results! "Zavala was hired primarily for floor tile replacement; but job evolved into a bathroom refresh/renovation. Floor tiling was geometric and not an easy lay. From day one to completion of the project, Mr. Zavala demonstrated a “spirit of excellence” in performing every facet of the project with attention to details; integrity, which is a rare commodity in the contractor industry and a genuine desire to insure project met both mine and his high expectations. Appreciated meticulous daily clean up until project completion. Zavala Construction (Wulian) now rests at the top of the list for my TWO preferred “go to” contractors."

"George and his crew were always punctual and would arrive when they said. It was a pretty big job (1,200 sq ft) , carpet had to be removed and ceramic tile was installed. It took about 4 days to complete but his crew worked diligently each day arriving around 8:00am and leaving at 4:30. There were either two or three crew members working each day and they were competent with what they did. George referred me to a tile store that knew him, so acquiring the material was easy and efficient as it was delivered right to my house. I am very happy with the work that they did and will use them again."

In addition, he took care of about 10 other little things that needed fixing. As always, Diaz was the best contractor we’ve ever encountered. He came right out for a free estimate. He gave us constructive advice on the proposed work. His crew got started right away - they were reliable, on time, courteous, and cleaned up impeccably each day. Diaz stuck to his estimate. In addition to all these positive traits, one of the best things is that Diaz and his team can literally take care of anything. You will not have to rely on a subcontractor or having to call somebody else - he does painting, flooring, kitchens, doors/windows, drywall work, tiling, bathrooms, etc. He even has his own tree guy and electrician for when those things come up. He doesn’t just do everything, but everything is done to perfection. Highly recommended!"

They are very courteous, ask you for your input during the project to make sure you are satisfied with the work as they proceed, cleaning up at the end of the each day before leaving. "We hoped to improve the appearance of our shower by having the mildew-stained grout removed and replaced. In the process, 24 of our glazed ceramic shower tiles were slightly chipped, scratched, or severely gouged by the Handyman's tool used to dig out the old grout. Our handyman worked hard at a difficult and dirty task, but ultimately didn't have control of the tool he was using as evidenced by the damage to so many tiles. On the positive side, Mr. Handyman paid us $50 to buy five tiles to replace the most severely gouged and our handyman returned to do the replacement free of charge. However, I am still distressed by the tiny chips and scratches which remain in so many of the shower tiles not replaced. There appears no easy way to repair the scratches and small chips. This job took two days and we had to pay $1,600 with a $100 discount coupon. We also had to pay $91 for the tool that ultimately caused the damage to our shower tiles. Mr. Handyman was very responsive in trying to address the problem, but we wish it hadn't happened in the first place and are not entirely satisfied with the end result for the money we paid. The grout job itself looks quite nice."
