"The finished look is excellent. The finish is smooth and even. The painters were efficient and friendly. They cleaned up all the dust from the floors and put everything back as they found it. I am more than pleased with the outcome, and plan to use them for the remaining rooms in my home that need to be painted. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Manny was great! Hanged, taped, mudded, and sanded roughly 8.5' X 8' wall that I framed... had 'my studs' not been slightly twisted, bowed and warped the wall would be 100% perfect. Manny's work was excellent and the wall is smooth no divots or gaps. I provided the drywall and corner bead. Will definitely hire Manny again!"

"I'm another satisfied customer. Gerson is easy to work with. His bid is fair. His knowledge and ability to answer my never-ending questions was top notch. The 3-man crew he sent (led by Moses and all of them had been working with Gerson for past 5 years) built two 25' wide 3.5' high PT wood retaining walls. In 3 days. Which included demolition/hauling of old concrete wall. One of the best parts about working with Gerson is his spot-on communication. Super fast responsive with phone, email, and text. It's important to trust who you hire and this was important to me."

"Extremely well. Kikou, LLC is an amazing company; provides an amazing quality work product! Most of all, they are amazing to work with to ensure you are satisfied. They did three two feature walls, my master bath, and my powder room. I have booked to have them do additional projects. I have a new home and everyone who sees my wallpaper asks for Kikou, LLC contact to get wallpaper installed in their homes."

Wallpapering questions, answered by experts

You shouldn’t need extra adhesive for peel-and-stick backsplash tile. The adhesive on the back of the tile sheets should do the trick. However, if you experience issues with the tile peeling or falling off, make sure the wall you’re working on isn’t textured, as that can prevent the materials from properly adhering.

If you need a stronger magnetic surface, or you need to use a different type of paint in the room (like waterproof paint in a damp basement), there are other accessible options. You could fit a steel panel over the wall, try magnetic wallpaper, or apply chalk paint instead.

If you want an inexpensive shortcut, hang a pinboard or chalkboard on your wall. These removable options are ideal if you’re a renter who can’t repaint or plan to move in the near future.

It’s possible to hang your own wallpaper, but the process is tedious and potentially frustrating, and it can be challenging to get seams to line up and look clean and professional. Plus, depending on the type of wallpaper you’re installing, using too much or too little adhesive could cause damage to your drywall or plaster, peeling, and bubbling in the final product. It’s usually a better idea to hire a professional wallpaper installer to do the work for you, as the relatively low cost is justifiable, if only to avoid damage to your walls.

You may end up with extra wallpaper once your project is finished. Hang on to that wallpaper, as you may need to use it to patch up areas that get damaged later on. If you have a lot of excess wallpaper, try getting creative with it. You can use it to line the inside of a cabinet or drawers, for example.

Many types of wallpaper exist, from removable peel-and-stick options to more permanent options that involve pasting. You can also find wallpaper that you can paint over, wallpaper with a texture, and wallpaper made from various materials, such as vinyl. Some types of wallpaper are washable, which can be a great option for kitchens or if your household has small children.
