"Deane from Berith Builders took the time to visit and understand our project needs. He offered multiple price options and experience based recommendations. He ordered all of the material based on our choices and was quick to schedule the work once the material was ready. His team was timely and professional. Deane himself was onsite multiple times to ensure quality and answer any of our questions. The team went above and beyond to give a good product, to include some nice finishing touches. Deane also swung by after the work was done to walk through with us one last time and clean up the remaining items. We are contracting Berith again for a replacement rear door this month. Great working with them!"

"Prompt service. Fair price and excellent results. My new composite porch and stamped concrete walkway look terrific. The crew were very hard working with outstanding attention to detail. The owner answered all my questions before and during construction. I couldn't be happier with the results."

"I had a great experience with this contractor.  They came when they said they would to give me an estimate, the estimate was reasonable, and after collecting two others I chose them. They then came to repoint my chimney when they said they would, they did the work in the time they said it would take, and the finished product looks great.  They also cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. The job was probably a little more complicated than usual because my air conditioner units are at the base of the chimney, but they navigated around them without any apparent difficulty.  I am glad I used them and I would do so again!

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.
