"When I received the list of plumber in the area at 4pm, I really had not made up my mind to contact them but they contacted me and offered a free consult and then told me they could have some out in an hour - that blew me away - I was expecting a day or two. He showed up within the hour and was very professional. I explained the steps I took to unclog the drain and he politely explained alternatives for the future. He tested several sites to narrow down the clog which was located very close and not to the main line which would have cost more. Our basement bathroom drain line had clogged and I had spent most of NYE day trying to use a plunger and typical off-the-shelf remedies to fix. This service qualified as a emergency call due to the holiday (as these things happen). We were the 7th customer they were scheduled to see. Luckily, they were in the area for another emergency appointment and were able to assist us earlier than promised. "I made the mistake of providing my telephone number and after I hit "enter" I received two phone calls from two different providers. This was a little too aggressive for my taste. Dun Rite called first, so I let them come out and give me an estimate. They were willing to do the work that night, but it was too late in the evening for me considering neighbors. They came the next day. Sterling knew what he was doing, but he was strictly a "drain" guy... not a plumber. He also had a trainee with him. While Sterling was very patient with the trainee, I felt that the trainee slowed him down. Ideally, I would have liked to have had someone who was a licensed plumber... not just knowledgeable in clearing drains. However, Sterling was good at what he did and was able to clear my clogged drain. He had to come back the next day, as they lost my check. Additionally, they had to return a third time, as we were left with no hot water. Sterling was professional, polite, and friendly. I would probably call again. Although, if you're not sure what the problem is... it might be better to contact a plumber."
