R E Robertson Plumbing & Heating

Very nice workers. They went to Home Depot to get the plumbing pipes they needed. While putting the pipes one of the wring broke and they had to go back to Home Depot. I paid for the purchases and nothing else. The drain for the sink is working great.

This company does NOT value customer service. I have dealt with four people at this company three of which were rude, condescending and interrupted. I was charged for a service for a leak they created after installing new shut off valves. Phil the plumbing manager was argumentative and belittling. Eventually the billing was adjusted. During another service call the plumber complained about the job the whole time and left a mess of plumbing materials for me to clean up. It took me an hour to clean up the mess. There were several other issues too

Very well. I have used this company before for plumbing issues and I have been satisfied with their work every time.

Professional from start to finish.

The plumber and his apprentice were thorough and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problems. I was so pleased with their neatness and clear explanations of their repairs.

We have been very pleased with their work and professionalism. They also bill by the half hour.

The contractor had great communication and was able to schedule me quickly. Once the plumber and his apprentice arrived, they made very quick work and did a great job (the contractor who poured my driveway thought so, too). To reduce costs, I dug out the cleanout to the depth I wanted. This was a lot of work, and the end result was pretty expensive considering it could did not include the digging. That said, another contractor quoted me nearly 3x as much and tried to cross sell me a cleanout inspection for $500. The plumber was pretty rude to his apprentice. I (and I imagine my neighbors) did not appreciate hearing his yelling at the guy 10 feet away.

They came first thing in the am. Fast and efficient.

The first visit did not go as expected as they had nothing with them to fix the toilet with a seal issue (which was explained when calling for appt) or a new toilet on hand to replace it. They did fix the leaky sink but he complained that he did not know how to take it apart at first and seemed to expect me to know what type of faucet it was. I did not put it in so I had no idea. He fixed the running toilet partially but a second visit was needed for it to fully stop running. A third visit was needed to replace the toilet. The second and third service call went much better than the first. I would rate the first visit a C and the other two as A's.

Very well, in fact he helped with an little sink issue as a favor.

I was very pleased with their work. It was a challenging job given the age of our pipes but they worked diligently for three hours. They were very honest in describing the problem (roots) where as one of the large plumbing companies in the area had recommended that we fully replace our sewer line at enormous cost. I also appreciated that they cleaned up after finishing.

I couldn't be happier with the service. From the day the water stopped flowing, to the day when the water was turned on to the new system Robertson's went above and beyond. 

He did a good job. I thought the price was reasonable. It's working fine. I know I'm satisfied with everything. I have used him before. He came out when I needed. He came when I called him and he did a good job.

They came out on Christmas Eve to help us find where the water was coming from - but they first asked us a series of questions to make sure we shouldn't be asking someone else first (ie: foundation, roofing, etc) - their office staff were very kind and helpful with this!  When they arrived, they looked at the wet are, got some information from us, and were able to find the leak under the kitchen sink.  He did not want to cut a hole in our wall unless he absolutely had to which we appreciated tremendously!  he was very knowledgeable and easy to get along with and even suggested next steps to deal with the water damage issue.  I cannot say enough about how lucky we were to come across them when we needed them the most.  Highly recommend, will come back to them again in the future if anything is needed.

Called and explained I had purchased faucet with intention of installing myself, but found too tight under sink with InstaHot, disposal, dishwasher hookup, etc. so preferred they send someone with an eye for detail. This was Friday morning and said they could send someone Monday which was fine. She called back an hour or so later and said someone could be right out ... great! Joe and Lewis arrived promptly, assessed the install and got right to it doing a wonderful job. They took my concerns seriously, understood that I am a "picky customer" and treated me with friendly respect. We could not be happier! This is the second visit recently from R.E. Robertson dealing with new plumbing issues in our 14 year old home and they have my highest recommendation.

Called about 9 AM for an appointment. Lady answering phone commented that they should be able to arrive same day. Plumbers arrived about 3 and were finished within an hour. Sewer cleaned out and they cleaned up after they were finished. Job well done.

Called R E Robertson and was able to get a same day appointment for service. Person on the phone was very nice and she even called me when the service team was able to arrive sooner than expected.  The service team (Keith and his partner) were very professional and efficient.  I explained what was happening and they immediately got to work and replaced what was needed. They waited to make sure that everything worked properly.  Would definitely use again!

Our renters had a clogged kitchen sink.  After attempting to fix it on our own with no success, we decided to call a plumber.  We called many in the area, and decided on R.E. Robertson.  The staff was friendly and responsive.  They were able to schedule someone to come out the next day.  They said their rate was $108/hr plus materials and a fee for the use of the snake machine.
We were given a four hour window in which the plumbers were to arrive.  They called 15 minutes ahead of time to let us know they were on their way.   They showed up at 2:38 and got directly to work.  They diagnosed the problem and got to work fixing it.  They needed to use the snake machine and they rebuilt the pipe system in such a way that will allow us to have access to it in the future if there is another problem.   They also tightened the faucet.  The total working time was exactly an hour (I was looking at the clock to make sure they stayed in the time frame).  The plumbers were very polite and professional. They worked carefully and cleaned up afterward.  
After finishing, the plumbers went to the van to write out the invoice.  I was surprised to see that we were charged for two hours of work, not one.  I questioned this, but they said it was correct.  We were also charged for materials and the use of the snake machine, and both were reasonably priced.
 I was still upset about the charge for the extra hour, so I called the company to discuss the situation.  They were closed for the day, and they called back the next morning.  The lady on the phone gave me multiple reasons that I was charged for two hours, but finally ended by saying that they charge for travel time.  I was not aware of this beforehand, otherwise I certainly would have factored it in to my calculations.
I am saddened to write this review, as I was really quite pleased with the staff and the great job done by the plumbers.  I am just surprised and disappointed that we had to pay for an extra hour of service.
They did honor the Angie's List 5% discount.
