"My house is located in a wet area and I always have water coming into my crawlspace, even if it hasn't rained in several weeks. The moisture issues are compounded by the presence of iron ocher, which would cause the trench drain and sump pit in my crawlspace to clog and overflow unless I crawled back into it and treated it with bleach/chlorine every week. They upgraded the existing sump pump to a triple safe system with three pumps (including a battery backup!) so I have multiple redundancies in place to prevent flooding. They also wrapped my crawlspace with a heavy duty vapor barrier to keep all of that moisture from permeating up through my house. I couldn't have been happier with Javier and his crew, and my wife had no qualms about having them in our house while I was away at work. They called me several times to communicate their schedule, and took care to protect the flooring on the main level of my house. Javier was more than willing to work with me to route the sump discharge pipes in the area I wanted them. He and his crew worked very hard and put in extra hours to have the job completed on schedule in two days even though they ran into several unexpected issues. "Had jacks installed to raise/level the floors in the entire house and had joists sprayed to counter mold. Also leveled out dirt floor and spread the dirt to make the ground more level. Had a second crew come in that installed new fireproof crawl space insulation, insured holes in foundation were filled, covered the crawl space floors in plastic (under entire house) and installed a dehumidifier Included electrical source for the equipment). Also added replacement doors to the crawl space. Erik W.'s crew as well as Anthony M., Jeremyah S. and Carl H. on the second crew did an outstanding job, are great people, and were hard workers in extremely hot weather. Their 2 hour commute to my home (and a 2 hour return) did not slow them down. They were all very polite and accomodating and keep us informed as to their progress. They did a very good job of cleanup in the end. I highly recommend JES and would hire them again in a heartbeat. They obviously know their trade and are experts at it. "It was easy to make an appointment by phone; the pricing was based upon the size and type of the house (single family home, split level, 1800 sq ft). I understand it would have cost more if the house was taller, or less if it was a town house. The cleaners showed up on time, and had the entire job done in about 45 minutes. They used the water faucet from the front of the house to wash out the gutters and flush out the drain pipes. They picked up the gunk that washed out by hand so that it was barely noticeable.
