He removed the caps and installed stainless steel screens over the flue opening on both fireplaces to help prevent bat intrusion through the flue. He did an excellent job. During his inspection, Tim noticed a hole in the b-vent chimney. Tim installed a new b-vent chimney from the basement to the roof. He connected it to the water heater and the furnace.
