"Everything went well. This is the third time we have used Mr. Fama. It's really nice to have someone you can rely on to be on time and do the job and know everything will done well. I use our storage room to pot plants etc. Unfortunately the only sink on this lower floor is a shallow sink in the bathroom and have to carry dirty pots etc. upstairs. "My bathroom sink was draining slowly. Two bottles of Drano didn't make much of a difference. While I had plumbers from Honest Abe's here, I asked how much it would cost to have them unclog/snake the drain. I was told that it would cost $247. I was shocked at this price and told them I would look elsewhere. I did. I purchased one of Angie's List's deals (for half the price - $125) for a small drain cleaning. Tim, the plumber, showed up on time with his female apprentice. He removed the sink trap, snaked the drain with an electric, automated snake, and replaced the trap. The sink drained great after that. The entire process took about 20 minutes.

My 1952 house was not equipped with a vent, nor proper traps for either the washing machine or sink. There were sewer gases backing up on occasion, into the sink area, which is of course unpleasant.

Robert installed the traps, then came back to add the vent to the outside of the house. He did not have to go through the attic and roof. The end result looks like it was built with the house, and blends in well with the exterior.

He responds to my need for help either instantly or within 24 hours, is professional and knows his business. Anyone he hires is up to his standards, and those are very high. Having a reliable and qualified plumber is key to survival, and for that need, I go to Robert!!

"My mother has an old push/pull faucet which no longer turned off. She needed a face cloth for leverage to pull it out to turn the water on. I was prepared to replaced the tub/shower faucet. I was told that it was only the cartridge that needed replacing. Since it was an older model faucet, he left to obtain the correct part and returned within the hour. The job was done in about 20 minutes. Very pleased with them.  He saved her a lot of grief, not to mention money. Definitely would do business again.
