I spent over $12,000 and took on a $150 quarterly maintenance plan to get rid of the mice. The company replaced all insulation in my attic and other areas. Also, the company told me they sealed all holes that the mice might use to enter the house. Over the past year, I have complained repeatedly about the mice still roaming around in my house. Most times, an agent would come to the house, look around the outside and place glue traps in areas inside the house. These are amateurish actions I could undertake myself. Recently, I complained by letter to the owner of Century, Mr. Brett Nunn, about my mice problem. Mr. Nunn did not respond to my letter."

I was completely sold that the Raven tech was competent and was going to go the extra mile. The Raven tech described how he was going to dust the entry point and follow-up 2 weeks later to remove the siding to see where the bees were nesting in the house. However, as it turns out, the tech did follow-up but did not remove the siding as promised. A call to the Raven Office informed me that it is Raven's policy not to remove the siding. After the follow-up visit by Raven, we continued to have bees in the house. I insisted that the procedure of removing the siding to check on the bee nest, as promised, be performed. The tech returned, removed the siding, dusted behind the siding and replaced the siding. We have not have anymore bees in the house since."

That’s usually enough time to confirm that they don’t have additional hiding spots and aren’t continuing to encroach from an outside source. If you have a major infestation and use the services of a pest control company, it can take several weeks and multiple visits to fully clear your home, up to a couple of months.

As with anything ingested by animals, there is always a chance that mushrooms will be toxic. Clearing the tops of mushrooms from the soil to prevent them from being eaten by pets is always a good idea. Since poisonous mushrooms can be deadly, we recommended that any mushroom ingestion is treated as a veterinary emergency. Watch for signs of lethargy and digestive distress in any animal suspected to have eaten a mushroom and contact your vet immediately.
