What initially sold me on using Pro Landscape was the professionalism displayed by David the owner and his companies proposals to include cost edstimates which were much more detailed and easily understood than other contractors I met with. Further, when speaking with other members of his staff they were professional and friendly each time I interacted with them. I will definitely use ProLandscape again when the need arises."

"The Estimator was very nice and responded quickly to setup the visit and schedule the work for an old DC home with galvanized piping. The 2 installers (one very nice - Chris) did good work and cleaned up well, but didn't communicate the issues that popped up! This was irritating. They left although there were leaks and sewage coming through the kitchen sink when you turned on the bathroom sink etc. The installers claimed someone was scheduled to come the next morning, but that wasn't true because of the communication issues. Also, they promised a plumber would show up on the same day as the stoppage, but they never showed up or called. They apologized the next day, but my elderly mom still couldn't use her bathroom on the 2nd floor and had to go down to the basement to use the restroom for 5 days. They even mentioned that I had to pay for snaking the pipes although we had no blockage until the installers finished their work. The Estimator got an installer/repair tech Chris Hardesty (2nd Chris in the company) to snake and remove the stoppage (for free how nice) and fix all of the remaining issues. He is a great tech!!! He is the reason I gave an overall rating of a B. He was an "A" but the other service averaged to a "B". Thanks Chris!!! If you don't have an older home, then you should be fine, but if you do good luck with finding out promptly."

"It went extremely well! They were punctual, hardworking and professional. It was necessary to dig up my neighbor's landscaping, so they were very careful to disturb only what was necessary and to restore everything to its original condition. They even replaced her broken underground downspout extension (which was draining into my basement!) without comment or additional charge. When my neighbor accused them of causing a problem, MJ was quick to respond and the team on-site made a point of apologizing to her in person. I don't think MJ caused the problem, so I was very impressed that they "went high" to investigate the matter and, as I said, apologize for the inconvenience she felt she suffered. The work they did inside to remove mold and seal the wall was thorough and neat. The gentleman doing the work cleaned up everything and took all of his equipment and trash with him. his is especially important since he was working with strong chemicals. My contact in the office was prompt to address anything I threw her way. It was easy to make payments online. Best of all - no sign of water in the basement since they were here!!"

"I was very pleased with my experience with Boswell Septic. My job, which was a replacement of a 50-year-old collapsed system, was logistically complicated. The tank to be replaced was on a wooded slope and surrounded by old-growth Mountain Laurel and Azalea bushes. The Boswell father and son team were skilled, patient and thoughtful. To their credit, they tolerated 'advice' from all the women in my family who fretted over every inch of impact on the natural landscape, squeezing the backhoe between narrow spaces and even offering to move daffodil bulbs rather than running them over. My experience in working with Boswell is that that navigated that elusive line impeccably between professional and personable. They let us know what to expect, they had their machinery delivered the day before the work we to be done, the showed up withing the window that they told us to expect them and the did the work exactly as they said they would. I especially appreciated that all along the way of the 5-hour project, they included us in any decisions that had to be made, making suggestions and offering options (ie. whether or not to remove a tree that was close to the tank etc.). We got exactly what we paid for: good, honest, skilled work accomplished by good, honest people. It was a pleasure to work with Boswell septic."

"Very well. The crews were always prompt, professional and knowledgeable, friendly and willing to answer any questions. They transferred recoverable oil from our old tank into the new one, and filled the old tank with concrete to the inspector's specifications and satisfaction, then connected the new tank to our furnace. We had a concern shortly after installation, which was addressed straightaway to our complete satisfaction."

"After finding Tillerman Gardens online and requesting an estimate for substantial hardscape/landscape work on our newly renovated house, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Jesse, the owner, actually grew up in our neighborhood! On top of being a Takoma Park local, and an all around friendly, honest, business owner, we also came to learn that he does great work as well! His team completely transformed our hardscape areas, including installing a beautiful flagstone walkway and patio, a perfectly graded cement driveway, iron railings on our steps, and plants in a number of locations. On top of that, some of the work required some touch up and sealing and Jesse and his team have come out a couple of times later this spring to do that work unprompted. There's a little bit left, but I know they'll be around to finish it as they've taken care of us every step of the way. Even better, everything was done in budget. Look no further!
