"I have hesitated to write this review because the company was supposed to send someone out to do a touchup the next time they were in my area, but they never came.  Since where the touch up is needed (a corner of the tub) isn't really noticeable to me, and as more and more time went by, I just let it go. This is the reason I downgraded "responsiveness" to a B. Otherwise I would have given an A grade because the men who did the work were excellent.
My advice: Don't pay immediately after the job is finished but wait for a bill. That way if something needs to be fixed, the company will have an incentive to send someone out. Since I had already paid in full, there was no such incentive.
I was surprised at the size of the exhaust hose that is used while the tub finish is being applied. Because my bathroom is small, the hose had to go down the front hall and out the front door. Fortunately, the weather was not cold. The finish had to cure before the rest of the work could be completed. The smell wasn't pleasant, but it was tolerable.
I don't remember if it was the next day or two days later that the wall surround was put up over the existing tile, the ceiling lined, and a new drain and new fixtures installed. The installer was a different man from the one who had applied the glaze. He worked very hard, as it wasn't an easy job, due to some irregularities in the bathtub tile area. He also screwed in the grip bars that had to be removed before the wall lining could go up.
All in all I was satisfied with the work, although the caulking that was used gets moldy, and the mold is hard to remove. The wall surround and ceiling, however, do not attract mold, hallelujah.  I thought the price was right. I'm glad I had the work done.

"LKC replaced the roof on my home and as a Engineer by trade I have dealt with vendors for over 30 year I have to say they are top notch and would recommend LKC to anyone. Craig and John were extremely professional and pressure free. They sat down and went over everything and told me to take my time on making a decision. When I decided to get the job done after getting other proposals I went with LKC and they did a great job. They meet with me before ,during and after the job was completed and then followed up weeks after to make sure all was good. Thanks Craig, John and LKC"

"We were so pleased with the work done! The original project involved mostly painting but as they worked, there were more issues presented with the walls and ceilings in our house. JL Was very communicative with the issues that needed to be fixed, clearing all of it with us and keeping us aware of any additional costs incurred (very little additional was added from the original estimate, and only for work requested after we had received the estimate). Would definitely hire again."

"These guys were great. Very responsive and work was beautiful. I had new carpet installed, ceiling repair and painted, walls painted, exterior power washed, deck repaired and painted plus a few other odds and ends. I was very happy and will be keeping them on my phone for any further projects."

Popcorn Ceilings questions, answered by experts

Although texturing walls may not seem like a lengthy project, you’ll need to set aside between one and five days to complete it properly. The exact amount will depend on the scope of your project—one room will take less than a whole-house project. That will give you enough time for tasks that are time-consuming in and of themselves, like taping wall edges, priming the walls and letting them dry fully, and actually applying the texture and top or base paint coats.

Small repairs or applications can be DIY projects, but removing older textures, especially with safety risks, is usually left to professionals.

It depends on the type of texture you’re adding but yes, you can often use a roller to texturize a ceiling. The roller needs to be able to hold enough medium to create some relief on the ceiling but not so much that gravity will pull it off before it dries. Using a roller with a nap between ½” and ¾” will allow the roller to hold enough material to do the trick.

Yes. Sagging ceilings often indicate more severe problems, such as structural damage, roof leaks, and pest infestations. As the sagging expands, your ceiling may eventually collapse, posing a threat to your physical safety and leading to expensive repair and restoration costs. That’s why you need to fix sagging ceilings as soon as you notice them.

Older textures may contain asbestos, requiring careful handling and professional inspection before work begins to ensure safety compliance.
