The salesperson was very cordial. He answered all of my questions and provided me with a quote before he left. The meeting was less than an hour and there were no high pressure sales tactics. I checked other companies providing the same services and Porcelite's price was competitive and they were by far the most responsive. (One company didn't call me back until after the work was done!) When I gave the go ahead they had me on their schedule within a couple of weeks.

It was a two part installation. The  shower pan was refinished first and it took a couple of hours to do. The first technician arrived on-time and he finished the work in the time frame quoted on the phone. The second technician came in a couple of days later. He was also on-time and finished the work within the 4 hours quotes on the phone. Both technicians were very friendly and answered all of my maintenance questions.

I am extremely pleased with the end result. My shower looks new and is practically self cleaning! 

There were no surprises with the cost. I paid the price originally quoted.

"I purchased the faucets myself, using brands they recommended. I was disappointed that they wouldn't repair the leaking faucet because they weren't familiar with the brand (Jado). The installation was done and all seemed good until later that day when I noticed that the bathroom sink faucet that had been replaced was leaking from the pipe under the sink. They returned the next day and corrected the problem. Overall, very courteous and professional. I just recommend that you check the work thoroughly to avoid having to have them come back. The $277 price quoted below includes a $99 coupon I purchased from Angie's List for $200 worth of work. So the total job would have been $378 without the coupon. They saved me an additional $40 by providing 2 new connector pipes for one of the faucets free of charge."

Overall, it went very well.  The first day, the workers removed the old countertop and sink.  They then installed the new countertops and sink.  The second day, the workers connected the plumbing for the sink and disposal and started on the under cabinet lighting.  The third day they finished the under cabinet lighting, spackled and repainted the walls cut to install the wiring for the lighting.

When the workers were here, they did a great job and handled themselves professionally.  The only complaint I had was that on the 2nd day, the workers did not show until around 12:30 when I had expected them around 10.  They had gotten stuck at a earlier job, but it was not communicated to me until I called and asked where they were.  Other than that, the work looks great and gets compliments from guests and visitors to the house.  I would use KBR again for any kitchen or bath needs.

"This review is solely about the installation portion of the Puronics Water Treatment System since it was just installed today. The install team arrived on time, ready to go to work. The location of my main water line was tricky to get to, but they found a great solution to tap into the line via a drop-ceiling access point. They located the Hydronex Water Conditioning Cylinder and Salt Backflush Container exactly where I wanted it. Their work was clean, tight, and very professional. The RO system was backordered, so they explained that they will return within the week to install that portion of the project. They prepped for the RO install by drilling and installing the faucet in my granite countertop. After the install, they explained the whole system to my wife and I and we were up and running with conditioned water. I can't say enough about my experience with Chuck on the initial phone call, Miles who provided the water testing and sold me the system, and Ryan who installed the system. So far, I can't envision any issues that might arise with Orbit Water Solutions since they have provided outstanding service to this point!"

"I purchased the Big Deal for AABCO's installation of a new garbage disposal, testing/inspecting the drain line for obstructions, and an impressive warranty (5 yrs/2 yrs parts and labor) on the new disposal unit. Upon contacting AABCO on a Friday afternoon, inquiring about when someone might be able to come out and replace the disposal unit (having mentioned that the kitchen sink wasn't draining properly either - perhaps due to the utterly dead unit, or perhaps another issue), Mr. Gaskins promptly offered me a 9 am appt. the next morning - a Saturday, at no extra charge!
Mr. Gaskins was prompt, thoroughly professional, clearly experienced, and most gracious. He quickly and efficiently removed the old unit, inspected the drain line for any other obstructions, and quickly determined that the rusted unit was the sole reason for the slow drain. Then, despite very little room to maneuver under the kitchen sink cabinet (and very tight pipe connections), he expertly installed the new unit, tested it to make sure it was working properly, and even stayed a few more minutes to make sure that the drain was draining properly after I started the dishwasher. Thanks to his coming to the job well-prepared for any possible complications, he was able to quickly replace a worn, tight plastic connection that snapped (during installation), with a new piece that he had stocked on his truck - and most graciously replaced it free of charge. He took great care to ensure my home stayed clean at literally every step - donning shoe covers at the entryway, bringing towels and a bucket with him to catch any drips, and taking the old disposal unit away with him when he left. Mr. Gaskins was utterly professional, personable, honest, and gracious. I would gladly call him again for any plumbing needs that may arise in the future.
